Rider 1 should not be in the front. And your inexperience got you.

Rider 4 should have been the first bike to change lanes….should be more communication. Rider 1 has to be in the mindset of all 4 bikes, he wasn’t riding solo.

Rules for our crew. 1) Ample space between each rider in the stagger. 2) No tailgating of cars or trucks ahead 3) Rider 1 puts on turn signal. 4) All riders behind do the same 5) Tail gunner clears the lane ) nobody moves until lane is clear and then we move together. 6) learn all your hand signals and make sure everyone knows them in advance of ride. SLOW, GAS STOP, BATHROOM, ROAD CONDITION, MECHANICAL ISSUE, ETC... 7) Ride your ride and within your skill and comfort level.

Cant really blame rider 1, you were following to close.And you were predicting what he was doing vs knowing, trying to be in unison was the problem.

Accidents happen, that’s why they’re called Accidents. I don’t think anyone was being reckless. Stuff happens and blame can be shared. But some of the comments on the thread seem as though there are a lot of “professionals” who’ve never made a mistake. Glad you’re ok man. Heal up and get back out there smarter and wiser!!

I am happy that you are OK and God was guiding your slide. WHEN I ride staggered, rider one is Always on left. In the same circumstance, he would have crossed in front of you, making you slow down, or you would have gotten in right lane first. Also...sena or cardio are awesome for group rides.

Sorry to let you know. It was your fault. It was your responsibility to maintain a safe distance and speed. With that said. You walked away with a minor injury considering. Glad you're okay. Learn from this and take responsibility.

Better the lane change be initiated (electronic signal) by the Lead (leading from the left) and the lane is captured by the sweep. The lane change is best accomplished from back to front and the lead moves over last. Allow 2 seconds following distance (as speed increases so does distance).

great video. God had his hand on your shoulder for sure, be grateful. I had a similar situation about 20 years ago when I flipped my CBR 929. I let go when the speedometer passed 90 and the first thing to hit the ground was the back of my Arai helmet. The helmet I left the house without (95 degrees) but turned around to go back for because I never rode/ride without it. Give praise to God for his graces and learn from your mistakes. We all make them. Ride safe brother. God bless.

I'm glad you were made whole. Was the rider 1 using hands signals in the beginning of the ride? What could have been different? On your part and rider one. They call them accidents for a reason. Be safe man!!

Glad you're OK. That could have ended much worse. Always give yourself a way out and never follow so close that if the person or people in front of you makes a mistake, you can avoid this in the future.

I have 4 very important opinions about this video: 1. Your Situational Awareness wasn’t too sharp at that moment! 2. You need to “Ride Your Ride” and not think about how much you trust other riders! 3. You obviously didn’t have a proper “Space Cushion” between you and what was around you to give you time to react. 4. You haven’t mentioned anything about what YOU could have done differently! You talked a lot about what others should have done, could have done, but what about you my guy?!? What better should you have, could have or would have done to avoid this crash?!? 🤔🙏🏾✊🏾✌🏾 Stay safe out there and I hope you get well soon! ✌🏾
@RollWithSoul3174 күн бұрын
Fault doesn’t matter when you’re laying on a slab bro!! Thank 🙏🏾 goodness you’re able to talk about what happened! Accidents happen, but it wasn’t intentional, that’s why they’re called accidents! So please don’t put the other rider “on blast”, because I’m sure he feels just as bad about what happened. My question is, did you guys not have headsets intercom’s on a group ride?!? Maybe it wouldn’t have mattered in that situation because life happens in a split second! But I will always have the ability to communicate with at least three other riders in the group and still use hand signals! ✊🏾💪🏾✌🏾😎👍🏾

I’m glad to hear you are ok. I watched you collect that bike with your dad and I watched the videos on the trip. I do have one concern about this video. I have had a crash on a motorcycle but wasn’t injured very badly. What I took from it was I was 100% at fault for the accident. And that is something I think you need to do. After that I went and am still pushing training and practicing on a regular basis. When you ride a bike you take on all the risk of riding and never cede control of what happens to you to anyone else. And that is part of the thrill of riding. Lastly please go get more training and don’t ever stop training. Bless. Love the positivity you exude!!

Don't lie, you cried didn't you😂. In the future maybe get commed up as much as possible I've thought about getting a built in senna helmet and add a cardo too in order to be able to connect with anyone anywhere. You had a tough learning experience, hopefully makes you a better rider from this. Take it on the chin and learn from your mistakes

That’s why hand signals and communication are important. I ride with the same group of people 90% of the time and I still wait until they communicate even when Ik they will do something. Glad you aight but learn from it.
