Just saw her in the show last night - for reference, it was my 4th time seeing Wicked but my last visit was back in 2007 so it’s been a while… MK just slayed for all of Defying Gravity and it was so satisfying to see that the Defying Gravity flight at the end still packs a punch after all the years I’ve been away 🥹💚 Super happy to have been able to see her - glad to have her join my list of Elphies alongside (in chronological order) Shoshana Bean, Stephanie J. Interestingly, Laura Pick is singing the high F and following note the exact same way right now on the UK tour. Straight tone (FYYYY) on the top note into vibrato (iiiiing) with no riffing. It's kind of a unique option , at least in the specific execution they're both using. I really like it!
