6/22/2023 - 6/29/2023 all booked and paid for, first floor accommodations. Just not sure which side, right closer to dive shop? Left closer to palm trees and pool......It does not matter to me. Thank you for the walk through and preview!!!!

Haha - Not really. It's above some of that area. It's on the temple mount. I didn't make it up there.

Is it just me or do the grounds look sort of shabby? The plants look nice but the grass and the borders do not look well tended.

It's pretty well kept but it is the Caribbean so the salt air gets to everything. Overall I thought it was nice and they had just remodeled the rooms before we were there. Much nicer than they were before. ClubMed is one of the first resorts to open on the island years ago. I don't know about the mask situation there, we were there in 2019 - although I think we did catch COVID there or on the way back - we were pretty sick after we got home.

Looks almost as she did back in 1991 sans some upgrades. When the GF and I went back then, the rooms had no AC. Nights were quite warm to say the least. And I can report I’m still with the same girl, just 29 years later. We want to got back to CM T&C.

Nice walk through, thank you. How is the nightlife at this CM? Have you been to the Columbus Isle site? If so how would you compare them? We have been to Columbus Isle and enjoyed it. Thanks!

Hi Captain, We have not been to Columbus Isle. Turks CM has a pretty active night life. Wife and I are mostly into daytime stuff like snorkeling, which is really good there. Night time seemed like a lot going on at the bar and the theater.

Hi Wes.. When did u go to Jerusalem..??!
@xcomohio
@xcomohio 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Rino. I actually traveled all over but wish I had much more time. My bother was stationed in Tel Aviv and I was able to use his house as a home base for about a week and a half and travel the countryside. I spent several days days in and around Jerusalem including the old city, the western wall, the City of David, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Israel Museum, the underground passage, Via Dolorosa, Mount of Olives and much more. I would definitely recommend it to anyone but bring your walking shoes!

I was there about 3 years ago. Walked Hezekiah’s tunnel and that drainage tunnel when it wasn’t as clear as that even. I’m a big boy-6’ & 375 and made it up through there (it was tight and I was out of breath for sure!) So anyone wondering if they can make it-that gives you an idea. Best advice I can give you when visiting Israel is get in at least sustained walking shape. I spent a few months prior going on walks up and down hills on purpose to be able to traverse the terrain. Best place I’ve ever visited. Great video-you were able to get into places that weren’t open yet when I visited. Thanks for sharing

Agree 100%! You have to walk around and see as much as possible. So much to see, you'll never see it all but THOUSANDS of years worth of history!

Yes but it'f fun to remember that Joab and a small, elite unit climbed Warren's Shaft by hand (no gear) with weapons and were able to open the gates to let in David and the Army and take the city. When you look at what it would take to climb that free-hand, it's amazing!

Where's the tomb of David and Solomon located EXACTLY?
@xcomohio
@xcomohio 6 жыл бұрын
I discussed this with our Bible Study teacher and he provided some great information. Obviously, many of the so called holy sites are still unknown exactly. Many groups claim they know exactly where these sites are but the archeology doesn't always line up or give definitive proof. Solomon's tomb is unknown. The tomb of David identified near the upper room on Mount Zion is as good a place as any and could possibly be the location of his tomb. I would imagine these tombs will be located in the future at some point.

@@evelynhyland8708 yes the city of David in dew time David will return and be a great leader again. This has been prophesied by the prophets of old. When the age of the gentiles is fulfilled the lord will again restore Israel to its glory again. This is soon to come.
