I'm sorry for the late response, i was stuck with my irl stuff and haven't check this youtube channel for a while. Yes, I was planning doing True Masakado run with lowest stats requirement. My strategy should be using kanabi veil to reduce dmg taken, mirage for extra pressturn and using figment slash + buffing myself as much as I could. But I'm not testing that yet, I need to finish my stuff first.

You can actually done it in NG. By leveling up demon level or demand incense from enemy demon in battle, there is a small chance that you can get Balm (I've try it myself but it's took a lot of time).

Yo I'm kinda stuck at this part. Gonna have to commit to a grind but what are the best grinding spots at this point in the game? I'm level 21.

No need to grinding that much for this battle, just bring some demon that "null" Wind/Dark or have wind/dark Resistant like Shissa, Sudama, High Pixie,... etc and equip their Essence to your MC. Every mandatory battles in this game are ignore Level scaling. So, grinding is not the best option, just change your strategy. IDK what spot that help you on grinding because I'm using Mitama DLC to speed up it.

The solo run only fun when you're fighting Shiva and lower difficult boss. When you're only using stats boosting Item that the game give you a fixed amount. After Shiva, I mean Satan, Demi-Fiend and true Masakado battle. The enemies AI really smart (they can read your affinity to make decision and always buffing them self, debuffing you instead) and their stats is high AF too. To beat them, the only way is increase Vitality in order to tank all the thing that they throw to your face and of course your strength/magic stats too. If you fought Satan before you will know what I mean, this battle is full of DPS check. Ah yes, you stuck into an endless grinding and when your stats are high enough, the solo run doesn't fun anymore. You just need to press the button without thinking and praying for something, maybe it's called "Brainded".

Oh, thanks <33 Luci on Canon of Vengeance only level 85 idk why, or maybe because I didn't beat Shiva on this save yet (I don't want to surpass any boss for 5 level because of level scaling) I think I should try Masakado, Satan and Shiva next.

In the mainline SMT games, “Helel” is Lucifer’s angelic form. To make the distinction clearer, the English versions changed Angel Lucifer’s name to Helel, but the Japanese calls him Lucifel

After trying this strat, there's some things I believe people have to take note: 1) Do NOT use an item that sets up a physical barrier. She doesn't even have to hit you first, using a barrier setup item at any point in the fight is a rule breaker and Elizabeth will Diarahan then Megidoloan you to death. Bring a persona with Reflect Strike affinity. 2) Elizabeth is not guaranteed to use God Hand on all 3 of her phase 2 turns after you Enduring Soul the first Megidoloan. You might be tempted to bring her HP to as close to 10000 as possible on the first 2 turns, then switch to your Reflect Strike persona like I was. She ended up not using God Hand on the last turn so I wasn't able to bring her HP below 10000 by turn 3 and got Megidoloan'd. So, try to deal all your damage at once during the transition from phase 1 to 2. If you really need that extra damage, use your Reflect Strike persona to do it so you can catch the earliest possible God Hand.

Have you thought about doing it solo orpheus only merciless? Nyx is surprisingly easy to beat most bosses are since they are all pattern based with no actual smart AI with like 2 exceptions the entire game

My friend planning to do this challenge and will up load on this channel soon. I think it's gonna be hard at the early game cuz the boss can easily two-short you even you have resistant to this attack if you are in the same level as them. And I have done the challenge that Makoto solo on this channel also, you can check it.

If you enjoyed doing this run I highly recommend doing it yourself! I did solo/orpheus only/mandatory battles only/merciless with like 10 other minor restrictions. You get enough exp soloing to be able to deal with thebel bosses relatively easily. Priestess is scary due to time limit but Garula in the locked chest for med wind makes that fight possible. The worst boss is Clairvoyant Relic on f42 I couldnt think of a strategy so had to brute force hundreds of attempts till I got enough dodges. Then the full moons were tricky and needed… unique strategies sometimes but after Arqa nothing took more than a handful of attempts. Just waiting on the thumbnail I commissioned to be done then I can make the complete video of it public

When Elizabeth going to phase three, she will use Diarahan and it completely reset the fight. On the second time you bring her to less than 10k HP, she'll warn you that she is going to Diarahan at the next turn. If you still don't want to Armagedon so the only way is challenge Elizabeth on Easy Difficult or Mercifull with DLC persona skill element boost called "diver"- series. With that, you can dealing more than 10k dmg. But i don't want to use DLC and doing challenge with that easy difficult.

@lucca_theofelix3621 It is impossible to win without the use of a Theurgy at some point unless you have Driver Passives. Armageddon isn't required but Scarlet Havoc or King and I is and really it makes no difference which one you use. Scarlet Havoc is just pray for crits and King and I you have to do it after Surt turn, both require aligning the hp more so than Armageddon due to them doing less, otherwise you physically cannot hit the dps requirement to win on merciless. Other difficulties you can

You will need the Personas Helel or Satanael, their the only ones that can learn Almighty Boost and then you have to fuse either of them with another Persona and get lucky with a Skill Mutation so it turns into Almighty Amp. if not, reload and try again

In the jp version, helel lucifer is spelt with slighty different katakana, so it’s pronounced and written slightly different. This is impossible to carry over, so they opted to rename him to Helel, another name of him in the en version.
