Lucky Louie was funny and should have continued. But the show Louie was a straight masterpiece. It was like a cross between Larry Sanders and the Garry Shandling Show. Writing was even better because it was all done by Louis. And all our favorite O&A comics made an appearance on the show including O&A (over the phone). Too bad Louis got bored with it.

Despite the acting classes Louis suggested he attend, Jimmy was noticeably terrible on Lucky Louie. He looked uncomfortable, unnatural, and always seemed like he was waiting for his next line. He was surrounded by real actors, which made his inexperience even more obvious. Louis has a history of giving his friends parts in his projects whether they deserved it or not. He gave Jimmy roles in both of his shows and a couple of his movies. Which makes it all the more repulsive that Jimmy didn't get his back during his metoo troubles. Louis has said that he found out who his real friends are. Have always wondered what their relationship is like today. He never went on J&S after that, did he?

While it did seem that Larry liked to run down the list of questions on his card, that was always his style. When they had Larry on the show, he told Jimmy that the key to being a great interviewer is listening. And that too many interviewers cut the person off to hear themselves talk. That's the reason Larry never interjected. That said, CNN should have had the Michael Jackson interview ready to go so this guy could comment on it
