Mark did the vocals on Burn it down this summer in Sweden too, even though Myles wasn’t sick (a first for him for a Sweden show I think!) and it was even better than this, completely blew me away. Obviously there’s no Alter Bridge without Myles, but I would genuinely love to hear a few of their older songs either with Mark on lead or at least with more of Mark as backup/duet style officially re-recorded ❤

With all due respect to Myles…. He is one of my heroes but moving forward I wish AB would do this song with mark singing lead and they should even re record this song with mark singing.

The first time I saw Alter Bridge, I had just lost my grandfather and during this song I couldn’t stop crying, Myles squeezed my hand and after the show gave me a huge hug and listened to stories about my grandpa. Mark joined in and I was able to tell him how I played everything for my grandpa and he as a blues guitarist was impressed with Mark’s playing over the years. I was at the Columbus OH show when Mark sang Broken Wings and again, I cried, at times their music is my absolute lifeline!

This shit is three years old and this band is so damn good that they officially swapped lead singers and lead guitar players and the OG song is as good as the original recording. Myles=all time vocalist and killer guitar player Tremonti=all time guitar player and killer vocalist. Alter Bridge=Luckiest band ever to have two artists who can swap roles and still make cool shit happen!!!

yeah Mark could pretty much take over the show for both bands, his and AB, and it wouldnt even sound too out of place musically. Sure he had to go down a step or so with the vocals, but bring in Eric Friedman and youve covered all the bases.

Mark does one hell of a job here. He is truly a generation talent. Well done! I mean he is replacing another generational talent in Myles. I'd be shitting my self if Myles asked me to sing one of their songs... How can you complete with that and still do a killer job like Mark did?
