She's the most wonderful girl I've ever laid my eyes on. Beautiful as if blessed by Aphrodite herself, voice sweet like the sweetest honey imaginable. Her laugh can be the cutest little giggle or the loudest cackle she can muster, but it's music to my ears She's both the sweetest, most gentle and caring girl I've ever known and the weirdest, feistiest, loudest girl I know too. Every moment with her this school year felt genuinely magical. I cherish every memory she's given me like each one is the rarest gemstone on earth. That's one of the hardest things about it though. I can't have any more memories with her. You see, she's a senior while I'm a junior. Today was her last day, The seniors leave a week early at my school. I sat there with her at lunch, talking nonsense like it was just another day. I so, so badly wanted to just pull her in for a great big hug but I didn't. Lunch ended, another friend swept her away. I didn't get to give her the goodbye I wanted to give her. Sure I'll see her again from time to time, but I still wanted to do this. But I couldn't. Now I sit here, crying my eyes out because it hurts so bad to be without her. I miss her so deeply and she hasn't even been gone long. I sit here holding the plushie of mine that I let her name, just so I could have a little piece of her with me all the time. I sob into it, staining it with the tears of a poor girl pining for the heart of a girl who doesn't know how to give her heart. I sit here alone in my bed crying over a lost love, a scenario so common for me it's basically a routine. But this one was different. This one hit DEEP. I was absolutely enthralled by her, so deeply in love that if how deeply I loved her were to be portrayed by ocean depth, I'd reach the sea floor and keep diving. I'm so absolutely and completely in love with her that I just can't cope with the idea that she's going to be gone. At some point though, I guess I'll have to. That's how it always is. I just have to make myself move on. Oh, my dear girl, how I will miss you. I will miss seeing your beautiful face smile at me as I enter the lunch room. I will miss seeing how excited you'd get to tell me about something you were very invested, oh how your eyes lit up in those moments. I will miss when you'd enter the lunch room late me and drag me away by the hand somewhere else because you wanted to show me something you thought was cool. I will miss everything about having you nearby, and every day without you here will be nowhere near as enjoyable without you. I wish I could tell you how deeply I adore every single thing about you. How I wish I could do things like read on the porch together, sit in nice armchairs as rain pours outside, taking a nap in each other's arms, all those truly wonderful things. Oh, if only. I suppose I'll just hope to see you in my dreams.
