Most of my Blum hardware has broken after only 4 years. The soft close add on are hard to push so the doors don't close. A few of the hinges have broke in half. I thought Blum was the best. I'm not impressed. Do these soft close have to be replaced or can they be oiled?

Good overview of what to consider for hinge installation. However, the video is titled "Best Soft Close Hinge for Kitchen Cabinets". I am trying to find out if someone makes a soft + self close hinge to upgrade about 40 doors that have the Amerock 7128 hinge installed.

@@cabinetdoorstore Sorry, I should have been clearer. The semi concealed hinge shown in the first segment @10-11 seconds. I have soft close do they make one (or different if it covers the old hinge work)

'This to this' are NOT the same cabinets! One is grained oak, and the other isn't. They aren't even the same style of cabinet!

It is normal wood glue, available at any hardware store.

Regular wood glue can be used and does not come with drawer boxes.

Call me crazy, but shouldn't the bottom panel not be glued for expansion?

We wouldn't call you that! 😊 The bottom is made from engineered material that is stable and has minimal movement. The solid wood sides can be affected by movement but not with the grain. Movement is always across the grain. In our experience, all 4 sides of most kitchen sized drawer boxes can be glued.
