Amazing video, the drone shot with the crossing at the start is spectacular. Thanks for the video.

Really great model , the details brilliant , i got the revell model kit and its a good model but yours is on another level, its amazing how popular the Titanic is. Depite the terrible tragedy it was a great ship, something about those old steam ships they had.class.

Thanks and yes - I chose this angle because I wanted to have the bow entirely submerged, but with the screws completely clear so I could model the water cascading from them. I admit I took a bit of dramatic license with the history in both the angle and the lighting.

Wow....this is stunning work! Any idea on the number of hours you put into this? Again......stunning.

Thank you! It's a little hard to say because I worked on it off and on for over a year, but I'd guess total time probably about 60-80 hours? There was a lot of time experimenting with LEDs, fiber optics, resins, etc. to get the effect I was looking for. Thank you again for watching, and your kind words!

How do you fit he video inside the frame or box?
@raym18117 жыл бұрын
GAPAG It's just an overlaid transparent PNG I created in photoshop. The original 16:9 video is framed/cropped behind it.

How do I do that?

I love this so much. Would you make a vide on how you did this? Or which presets/overlays you used?
@raym18117 жыл бұрын
Hi Monica, thanks for the note. Actually it was fairly easy, I hope I can explain it in a way that makes sense. This was regular iphone video, nothing fancy - first I slowed the frame rate to about 70%, then overlaid a transparent PNG matte I made in photoshop to crop the video to shape. Then I graded the color to desaturate the greens and boost the reds. Then there are two separate "scratch layers" both from stock footage, one is overlaid dark the other white. These simply loop. I adjusted the opacity of each until it looked right. The "film leader" was also stock footage. Transitions are stock "light leaks". The focus effect is just a blur applied with keyframes. That's about all there is to it - if you have questions please let me know.

How did you get the GoPro to stay so steady when my Silver Edition is so herkey jerky?
@raym181110 жыл бұрын
In this video I used Mercalli software to do a post-stabilization, and there's similar functionality in iMovie. It was pretty jerky before the stabilize pass. Nowadays it's preferable to use a brushless gimbal though, they've become quite affordable.

Thx! I added a tilt control stick I haven't seen anyone else do and it is awesome cause it allows me to control the speed of the tilt from really slow to fast depending on the pressure I apply,basically I uses a pitch control stick from one of those $20 indoor RC heli's, de soldered it off board from controller and installed in my phantom TX, tried many options that were either on or off, no variable speed, but this thing works great! Again, beautiful video!
@StargazerFS12811 жыл бұрын
Great stuff! I just put my Tarot on my phantom and hooked in the tilt feature, having god forsaken weather here so I can't test it out yet, but your results are inspiring!
@raym181111 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks Eddie. Overall it worked great out of the box, however I did find the need for a little software stabilization due to some jitters left/right. Taking a light hand with the left stick helped, but even so there was a little bumpiness. Still though a great improvement and well worth it. Have fun with yours...did you add a potentiometer to the DJI remote to control the tilt?
