As per my knowledge,Chaudhuri received Sahitya Akademi Award in 1975 for his biography on Max Muller titled , "Scholar Extraordinary:The Life of Professor the Rt.Hon.Friedrich Max Muller" published in 1974.

Thank you for correcting me, Nirad C. Chaudhuri did not receive any specific award for his book "Thy Hand, Great Anarch!" This book, published in 1987, is a continuation of his autobiography "The Autobiography of an Unknown Indian," but it did not receive the Sahitya Akademi Award or any other notable literary award. The Sahitya Akademi Award he received in 1975 was for "Scholar Extraordinary: The Life of Professor the Rt. Hon. Friedrich Max Müller." I apologise, i got my sources wrong.
