Steps to limited the risks of kick back: 1. Buy a chainsaw. 2. Go on a safety course on how to operate the chainsaw. 3. Check the area you about to cut, e,.g the part of the wood the chain will cut through. "In nature not so much on an issue", however cutting some old wooden beams inside a house for example could have nails or screws in them. 3. Dont fuck around while using the chainsaw. 4. Threat the chainsaw as you would with someone who had Schizophrenia.

What are the new well pumps that run at constant pressure?
@t.e.118915 күн бұрын
The decibel rating is completely meaningless unless they also share the distance away the measurement was taking form the source. Eagle's EA-6500 says 53dB from 25 ft away. Big deal who stands 25 ft away from their compressor in a typical garage. The closer you are the higher it gets. Why not test all these compressors at a set distances away with a meter. Like 3 ft away, 10 ft away and 20 ft away.

With so many 2-strokes climbing in price and under fire for noise much less emissions, I have heard machine shops tell me that many brands even Briggs are using an aluminum piston in an aluminum bore/cylinder. This may keep cost down but it can increase the profit margins for all the hands touching the product. But I am seeing 25:1 air/oil ratios showing up! This must be al on al piston / cylinder combinations. After 40+ years of fixing vehicles as an ASE Master tech, I can’t believe what I am seeing! I have to mix paint for my 38 year old son because he can’t figure out ratios. It’s on the cup now.😮 Thanks kindly for helping folks understand this better!

so it basically wont matter unless the generator keeps tripping itself???

Wow, thank you, learned a lot about running my generator. I need to buy a convenience cord, from that cord can I run an extension cord to my refrigerator and if so what kind? What kind of tent should I buy for my new 6000W champion Generator? Hopefully I was able to buy a descent generator. It's a big thing, so thankfully it came with wheels that I installed.

This video is a lie. Remote switches are not good either. You need to get a sump with a fixed arm instead of a floating switch.

The safety bar on my 20 year old Oregon 14 Electric is stuck in the "disengaged" position. So, the saw works fine, and the chain turns freely, but no amount of pressure will force the guard forward to stop the chain. I recently removed the chain bar for packing and moving and found this problem upon reattaching the bar and chain. Any ideas?

Would you happen to know how long of a hose i could put on a 212cc 2 inch pump? Not lifting water just moving it from one area in yard to another, thank you

In 2011 I went to NYC and found the building rooftops are littered with wooden water tanks. Thats right, wooden. A wooden water tank is constructed in a shop, assembled & checked, disassembled and the boards can be hauled to NYC carried up the stars or elevator to the rooftop and the tank is assembled up there for the last time. If a fibreglass tank was used a crane or helicopter would be req to lift the tank to the rooftop. Manhattan is way to crowded and busy to bring in a crane to block the street to hoist a tank to the rooftop. So, wooden tanks. !

You say you need to wear the helmet with visor and safety glasses - yet the people in your demonstration video are not. Hmmm.

Thank you for this video. I am a Senior female in the market for a newer lawnmower. I currently use a gas mower. But, a friend suggested to get a battery mower. Like you mentioned less maintenance, quieter and lighter to push. I live in a city on a 50x120 ft lot so not a lot of grass to cut. Time for an upgrade.

Hi, if I have a gas powered pump outside a basement garage that can discharge directly to ground with no lift needed but the intake hose is 30-50 feet in the garage below (access through a stairwell), do you see any flow issues with any pumps rated at 85 ft ? Side note : the water pumped out is dirty water from pressure cleaning/washing a garage floor (max of 14 gpm) where the sand/dirt will clog the drains.

Why wouldn't the trapped air just blast out next time the pump activates?

I have a Briggs and Stratton Fortress 12kw generator and it won't start it makes a clicking sound similar to staring relay but it sounds like it coming from behind it plus I changed it and there is no difference the battery has 13 volts

Well, I pulled a pump from a 90 ft well that only had two black wires to it. There was no ground wire run out to the pump or in the casing. The new pump I put in had two black wires and a ground wire. There is no control box. At this point in time I just tied off the ground.

I was really hoping it was different and required less than stated startup watts required. I'm hoping to get a battery backup power station to handle the startup, but I would need a huge power station with the max amps required to start this.
