Almost correct. The primer actually softens the pvc also. But you shold apply glue to both inside of the fitting and also the outside of the pipe and your supposed to push it on while turning 1/4 and then (this is always overlooked) hold for 30 seconds to avoided push-out.

Having just suffered an airlock issue on mine... doing this now. Both my pumps (primary and battery backup) have anti airlock holes on the lower edges (sides) of each pump body in the cast iron. But those clog with silt (as what happened in my case). Makes sense to have one in the discharge line too, but just curious on the purpose of ones built into most pumps versus the weep hole (unless this is pre-pump vs. post-pump airlock thing) Thanks for sharing

Pretty hard to get to the middle blade, even with ramps. I ended up using a ramp in the back and picked up the front to slide cinder blocks under the front tires. Definitely better than fuckin around trying to wrench on a locked up bolt you can barely reach

I’ve got a Husqvarna that is 8 years old, hard use on 1.5 acre uneven property. Some minor issues, mostly fit and trim with small parts rattling off. But as you see here, one great thing is the ease of changing blades. Cub Cadet is likely a better built mower, but removing the whole deck plus drive pulley to change blades? Kind of a deal breaker for me. My mower also has a very durable Kawasaki engine. So I think I’ll stick with Husky.

Why do you need a weep hole?

We've lived in our house for 3 years. The previous owners had lived here for several years before us. They claimed they never heard the sump run. They're right, because I discovered when we moved in that it was rusted and didn't work at all. We've been getting rain this year like I've never seen in my life. More rain is in the forecast for at least the next week. I'm trying to be proactive by purchasing a new sump as an insurance against disaster I only know that the bad pump was 1/3 HP, and was submersible. If it rarely ever is needed, am I better off with one that doesn't have to be sitting in water to be properly lubricated? A pedestal perhaps? Also, the bottom of the sump is only 13 inches whereas the top is at least 15. What is considered the "diameter" of the sump?

I have a homelite hydrasurge 1700 electric pressure washer. Looking at youtube videos looks like it has a 2 hose unit. My neighbor gave the unit to me with one hose. Would U be able just to use it with one hose. It has 2 out puts.
