The manual states to drill the weep hole level with the top of the pump. My installer (brother) did not deem this necessary, well it was 1am and rain was winning. So where should I drill if it can’t be two fingers up (is that hole below the water level most of the time?) because the pump is already hooked up? Really very well done best instruction video I’ve seen. I do have 2 suggestions 1) don’t make it look too easy (I and some, dumb plumb) and 2) you might mention making sure the check valve is not installed upside down (don’t ask), the arrow should be pointing up. Do you have any advice for buying water alarms? And why are backup pumps so expensive?

I’m confused, don’t laugh, I’m left handed, with limited upper body strength & have plumbing dyslexia, so any righty tighty rules go right out the window. Left threaded objects are my nemesis. In order to make a 45* angle “downward hole”, the position of the drill is pointing up? And the weep hole is to spray towards the pump? Oh, the pump is already installed and does have a check valve. And I did read the instructions manual, it said ‘First put pump in the big hole, connect to 1 1/2” pipe hole and drill a little 3/16” hole, THEN plug it in. I think the manual author is another kind of hole.

I learned this the Hard Way for About 13 Years, & about 10 Pumps later. I had Mine in the crawlspace underneath my Home Sucking at about 15 feet thru a 3/4 inch PVC line that I later replaced & Upgraded to PEX...Long story Short, I ended up putting the Pump less than 5 feet from my water source in a pump house & So Far Problem Solved....Just Got to Protect it Against Flooding as it's Much Closer to the Creek & Spring that Feeds my Water Source.

Since you sell many different Turbo Nozzles. Which one holds up the best. Saw one video. The Simpson brand locked up in 2 hour of use. He tried two exact Simpson nozzles. They both locked up.

I just wish he’d open it so we can see the wiring. Do you require a generac for this one or can you use any other generator?

The auger on this is junk ran one 50lb back in it an it busted all the fins off the auger do not recommend at all

The decibel rating is completely meaningless unless they also share the distance away the measurement was taking form the source. Eagle's EA-6500 says 53dB from 25 ft away. Big deal who stands 25 ft away from their compressor in a typical garage. The closer you are the higher it gets. Why not test all these compressors at a set distances away with a meter. Like 3 ft away, 10 ft away and 20 ft away.

With so many 2-strokes climbing in price and under fire for noise much less emissions, I have heard machine shops tell me that many brands even Briggs are using an aluminum piston in an aluminum bore/cylinder. This may keep cost down but it can increase the profit margins for all the hands touching the product. But I am seeing 25:1 air/oil ratios showing up! This must be al on al piston / cylinder combinations. After 40+ years of fixing vehicles as an ASE Master tech, I can’t believe what I am seeing! The safety bar on my 20 year old Oregon 14 Electric is stuck in the "disengaged" position. So, the saw works fine, and the chain turns freely, but no amount of pressure will force the guard forward to stop the chain. I recently removed the chain bar for packing and moving and found this problem upon reattaching the bar and chain. Any ideas?
