Hope you have front wheel weights on that tractor mate those little tractors lift the front wheels off the ground easy as seen them near stand up remember the length of the crane and the higher you lift the more grip on the front tyres to the ground is lighter as you lift
@Lukewenke03 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, no I don’t have front wheel weights. The stuff I lifted wasn’t too heavy, we’ve got two front end loaders for lifting heavy stuff. I just thought the Jib would be a good toy to have to shift lighter stuff around.

Repairing and operating these older machines will build your skills and mechanical understand that will give you confidance to tackle larger and more complicated jobs. I just love your Fordson. It looks so original, a generational tractor to be passed on through the family. Do you follow "Fixing Fordsons"? In 1962 I as a teenager worked the summers in hay for a Neighborhood dairyman.......He had a tricycle front Super Major ..... and a New Holland baler that had a board chamber stuffer......Diesel fuel was 5 cents a gal... sweated many a day stacking hay on trailers behind that rig..
