Fire Trap is a stand out here :) what a strange and fun looking game. Gumshoe and Livingstone are quite known actually... at least they were quite often found on floppies and turbo tapes here.

Thanks for playing my game. :) - It won the RGCD 16kb cartridge competition a while back. I see you got stuck on level 7 which is likely the first tricky one. A hint is that you can create pushable blocks if you place 3 next to each other and remove the middle one. You then have a standalone ice block you can push which is needed to solve that puzzle if you decide to visit again.

Cool! Nice to meet you here. Thanks a lot for the hint! Really nice game. 🙂

No comment on the background? What makes this blue-greyish waves? How ist this done, technically, on a C46?

For these kind of infos you should look elsewhere. I'm not a programmer or technician. I play these games just for entertainment and not infotainment.

Don't you love it when a comment does give zero feedback about your video and just points out another version is better ;) Played this a bit back in the day. Not awesome but a decent game. The playability is there and that's what counts, nice seeing "Failiac" enjoying it despite being used to the C64 version :)
@ThomaniacsRetrogamingZone5 күн бұрын
On the C64 especially the awesome SID tune stands out. Gameplaywise I'd say that both versions play rather similar.

Man sorry I missed this one. My favorite two consoles. I dohope you didn't just play it on the Arcada (especially not the Megadrive) Joysticks. As these games are so programmed for pads. BTW I skipped forward a bit, and saw you play Gunstar heroes, and instantly wanted to say :"you can combine weapons!" and "you can do judo throws" or :"YOu can jump of the wall, Just don't press jump while on the wall" lol :D. I care way too much for this hardware :) . PS: If you think Gunstar Heroes has a lot of moves you can do, try the other Treasure game: Alien Soldier. It's just insanely hard, but sooooo much is happening at the same time.

The MD really is a great console and i prefer it over the Snes.
@DehnusNorder20 күн бұрын
@@ThomaniacsRetrogamingZone The Megadrive is a best for when it was released and they even cut it down, the original design (that was deemed to expensive) would have had twice the ram and bandwidth. And Bandwidth wise it already wipes the floor with the competition of the time :P .

Penny Racers had some life in the 80s, I think. They were tiny cars that you would "wind up" by dragging their wheels across the floor to generate energy. You put them in this small compartment that held them in place until you hit a button and they would "launch" and go crazy spinning all over the place. The penny gimmick was to weigh down the back of the car so that it would "pop a wheelie" on the way out of the compartment. Some designs had parts of them that would glow in the dark. Unremarkable series, otherwise, as they weren't based off of real world cars the way matchbox were. So the appeal and interest weren't much for these.

Aha, that says me something. I had something similar back then in my childhood in Germany. It was called Darda-Bahn.
