did you try to do a degreasing cycle? Maybe some oils are stuck in the system. If you have a pressure loss, it could be a pump issue.

Very good video! Have one question what can be the reason for a lot of coffee spilling in brew unit?
@geniusequipment27 күн бұрын
Hello Michael, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I think what you're asking is why there is coffee under the brew unit. The reason is that the machine is overdosing. To fix it set the aroma setting to Mild and make 3 to 6 coffees. This will make all the grounds go into the brew chamber, so the machine can account for all the coffee and take action to reduce the quantity automatically. Now this will work if the brew unit is nice and clean, has newer seals and is greased. I hope this helps to keep the house hold caffeinated! Cheers, Eugenio

@@geniusequipmentwow that is an fast response, thanks! It is an hd8851 unit. What your saying it will auto adjust when I make 3-6 coffees in mild (2bea s) mode? Or is there any service menu for adjusting it? Ps. This problem was always there from the beginning but it is getting more and more. Unit is serviced short a go.

@@michael_pa4mic@michael_pa4mic ☺ In the tech department, we made the point of one of all of us techs keeping an eye out for technical advice messages. The Aroma Setting is the setting to make the coffee stronger or lighter. Your model should have a button with 3 beans and a scoop. The scoop is the decaf setting, and the 3 beans indicate the straight of the coffee from light, one bean to strong, three beans. I hope this helps. Cheers

Thank you for this helpful video. I watched several videos prior to yours, thanks for finding you! my brew stacked and I learned that all I have to do is to push the yellow thing down - and WALLA - everything is working. Also, I used toothbrush to clean deeply the brew after watching you doing it with no fear at all. and finally I even greased it. where can I purchase your grease?

There are 2 additional rails to be lubed on both sides. Its hard to visualize but it can be accessed. It looks like a wide "rectangle" area with 3 square spaces that ussually needs to be cleaned. Also the rubber o-ring should be lightly lubed. If you are going to lube every week dont use that much grease or it will become messy very quickly

Hey, wonder if anyone can help me. A part of my original brew unit for my Saeco Magic de luxe coffee machine broke off, so I ordered a new one with a new spring and ball valve thing. Before everything worked ok, but now when I try to make a coffee it doesn't come through. I've observed the process with the door open and see that from somewhere near the top of the brew unit the coffee spurts out, with it all ending up in the brew unit and the bit where the old grains go. When I remove the ball from the brew unit, the coffee comes through fine but obviously really weak and not nice tasting. Could anyone advise me what exactly the problem could be here? I've cleaned the brewunit and regreased everything, ive ran the decalcifying cycle with the phillips descaling solution thing, ive tried the old ball and spring. This has all been over a long time period though (since September non-functional). Gratefuly for any help - its so heavy i dont really want to have to take it to a repair shop - ive no car! I've taken a video so can provide if would be helpful. thanks.

What grease we can buy?

I installed the new rebuild kit, but I don't know why the needle / spillo in idle position is closed (I can sense with my nail without the filter basket) when I try to make the coffee, nothing flow down. It's like the cam spring is not strong enough to bring the cam in the position where the needle is lifted. Do you have any idea why is not working properly?

Same problem here. If I put the old black disc in, it works, but the new one does not. So something about the new disc is preventing the valve from opening.

It only works on some brew units. My DeLonghi 4200s brew unit, you only get as far as removing the clip. The black part does NOT come out! Yours fell out unintentionally. My one, the is no method of getting past the dog clip.

Thank you, so happy to see this. The condition of the is brew group is like my brew group. I’ve followed the manufacturer cleaning instructions to just rinse the brew group. I was shocked to how the coffee built up in the factory grease and then the instructions say to add grease every few months🤯 So I didn’t grease it didn’t make sense for the amount of coffee build up after having a manual coffee machine. Now I feel confident I can clean all that build up and re greasing now makes sense. I had been worried that the manufacture felt maybe properly cleaning would damage stuff and I was trusting the manufacturers instructions. Your video makes sense to me in the knowledge of having worked professionally with coffee and coffee machines both as a job and in my home. Time to give the brew group a detail clean🤩👍

Can you tell me where to get these O-rings and possible a new infuser? I may need at least the O-rings. I have searched the web with my Model Number of my TrewBrew CAM51025MB and nothing comes up for either. The O-rings I find are all general or go for different De Longhis and no infuser I have found looks like mine ( the one you are working on) I have my unit almost a year and it is definitely having problems. I hoping a good cleaning will help but may need more than that. BTW nothing on the maintenance part in the manual states about doing this to the infuser. Very disappointing and I am hoping it is not totally destroyed. I thank you in advance.
