I had already forgotten too, but when I finished Tears of the Kingdom, I had to fill the void in my heart with something, and the idea of playing the first part again came to me.

Conncection are much more interesting than gen 2 and I highly recommend them, they have a lot of games, items, food, there are cool animations and a lot of cool things you can do with them and they certainly won't be boring like gen 2, but I like the versions with colorful display, so of the two I would choose Uni, but Connections will always have a special place in my heart because of the huge sentiment, they are really cool and not boring at all.

The quality-of-life stuff looks so much better than other similar games. I love the tractor concept and how smoothly it seems to harvest things and how clear the UI is on what it's doing. New era harvest moon/Natsume could learn a lot from this title.

I think exactly the same, it is my favorite farming game, I also really liked the first one. I love the fact that the character doesn't get tired and you don't have to go home quickly for the night. It stresses me out a lot in other games.

Would you recommend the Uni to someone looking to get into collecting newer tamagotchi? I wanted to get some of the ones with newer feature sets versus the retro stuff and there's so many to pick from :o

Yes, I recommend it, I have a lot of fun with it. I collect both, old and new versions, and apart from such sentimental for me models like iD for example, this one is really one of my favorite tamagotchi versions.
