Great video man. Hooking the American Flag is classic. I had no idea, until weight in, that you'd never won one in our club before. Your videos give me faith because your style and approach is so similar to how I like to approach the day.. Helps me feel like I'm on the right path. Your consistency is impressive. First of all thank you so much for sharing your day on the lake it was a blast to watch. I think the curse is lifted from deciding to fish this lake cause you fished wonderfully today! The morning was kind of hard to see, but the rest of the day it seemed to be a beautiful day on the lake! Most anglers worry about catching five fish but you decided let’s do ten and what a ten you got congratulations on the finish! You looked very confident on this tournament stayed with your confidence bait cause it worked and caught your fish! Awesome job tight lines sir take care and God bless!

I don’t know why anyone would have anything negative to say about fishing???? That boggles my mind in dirt someone would want to test someone down instead of lifting that person up! These videos take time production and editing and I’ve been enjoying the fact that you took the time to create a video about your experience on the water. It really has helped me out to understand the ups and downs of their day so that if a new angler needed to really understand what happens during pressure during an event is real even to the best of us! So thank you die sharing your day congratulations on on your top ten placement in the tournament tight lines take care and God bless!❤

I appreciate this comment! I like to keep it real in my videos to provide the good, bad, and ugly. I understand people may say negative things, but that doesn’t really bother me. Have to learn to ignore the hate because it’ll always be there when posting on the web. The positivity outweighs the negative, and I appreciate that the most!

Damn, I want to try one of these fishing kayaks, but every video I watch. It looks like 50 lbs of crap stuffed in a half pound bag. They look like the Beverly hillbillies meets water world. It looks so crowded and uncomfortable on there, I can’t imagine.
@billquantrill49604 ай бұрын
I've seen videos here on youtube of guys dumping fishing kayaks in current and all their shit tumbles toward the Missouri River. Most of them seemingly have very little secondary buoyancy. Once it tips past the primary buoyancy it just goes over. Not great for paddling or any real current in a river. assuming you want to take your stuff home dry and intact.
@tzkayakfishing4 ай бұрын
Try it out, I bet you’d enjoy it if you like fishing and spending time on the water. You can go out there with 1 rod if you wanted to. When you get into tournaments, it can be a little more complex(obviously) just like the bass boats. This kayak doesn’t have as much storage as others, which is why I use a couple different accessories to help with that. It’s not uncomfortable at all and can easily spend 10 hours multiple days in a row on one.

Congratulations on a great 2nd day and tournament! Thanks for sharing your videos. What hooks do you like using when fishing the fluke?
@tzkayakfishing4 ай бұрын
Thank you!! I appreciate you taking the time to watch! I will typically use a standard 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG. Sometimes I’ll use the super line Gamakatsu if I’m tossing in heavy cover, but I prefer the lighter wire hook 9 times out of 10.

Good stuff man. I'm not a fan of geese either. They're like the billy goats of the air and water. Those smallies sure are pretty. I thought about pulling out that Cull Shad. I've barely fished it yet. They kept biting the little swim bait, so I mainly threw that. I didn't get any shakeyhead bites, which seemed really weird.
@tzkayakfishing6 ай бұрын
I’m glad someone else is on the same page with me on geese! It apparently worked at the classic, so I wanted to try it. I didn’t stick with it long though, but maybe I should’ve. When you don’t get bit on a shakey head, that’s weird. Usually can get bit on that over other things most of the time.

Good stuff man. I was hoping you'd catch one on that glide. I threw a big swimbait a little on that day, but quickly went back to the shakeyhead and little swimbait. Little jerkbait got a little play too. Are you throwing a heavier shakeyhead on those steeper banks?
@tzkayakfishing7 ай бұрын
Thanks! I was hoping to catch something also. Haven’t caught anything yet with it. I was using a 3/16oz, so not heavy at all. It wasn’t as deep as it looked, but anything deeper than 10-12, I’ll use a 1/4
