Putting some heat shrink over the motor wire connections will keep them from unplugging. Just cut it off with a razor when u need to separate the ESC from the motor. Motor wire unplugged on my old MGT Rival the day I got it, ESC caught fire cuz I kept clicking throttle cuz I was confused lol

Hey there 👋👋. It’s a 39 spur 37 pinion! I wanted to run 39 39 gearing but with the stock mount the mesh is too tight. This setup never disappoints!! It’s an absolute ripper!!!! Plenty of power to easily pull off backflips 👊👊👍👍

Please help and suggest Felony looks so awesome and tempting but has rear tires and different differentials whereas Infraction is same platform all rounder with okish looks. Please help whether I should go with Felony or infraction

I just purchased some of these tyres and one of the tyres have also a dent in it im going back to the rc shop for a new one i never had these problems with proline this is something new for me iff you press on the place where the dent is it feels really empty i think there is now foam or something like that Greetz from holland good luck i hope proline gives you a new set because this is production problem

Does the truck have all the sensors in it - just needing the link module in the transmitter and the app to get them working?

Correct just get the TQI link module for the controller and the app. This will give you telemetry and the ability to add more models to the remote as well. 👊👊👍👍

Yes stock pinion and spur. Incredible control down low but so much power up top! Absolutely awesome system. I highly recommend 👊👊👍👍

@@Addicted_2RC yeah I have mine also. Traxxas recommends the mesh at D my pinion is 12 teeth. But that didn’t seem right and neither was c. I’m going to try b ( holes for motor mount) and see if that works. Do you happen to know which location you used the mounts. ?

Appreciate that and yes I am!!!! Infraction is a tire shredding beast!!! Unfortunately my time away was longer than expected but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and for me it was focusing on my business this year. I would agree that it sucks having to sell your rcs but the one good thing is you can always start buying them back when you're ready. Glad to see you enjoyed the content!! 👊👊👍👍

Congratulations on the purchase but that sure stinks that it has no power. I left an RC with a friend before and it came back with a fried motor. 🤔🤔 very easy to overheat an infraction. Fixing and upgrading these RC cars is pretty much a regular thing. If you need help give some specifics on what the car is doing. 👊👊👍👍

Thank you! No breakages during this run. Since this run the rear turnbuckle has come out 2 times but it was able to be threaded back in and has been solid. The only upgrades so far are ball bearings in the steering assembly. I’ve got some jugs not installed yet. 😜😜 👊👊👍👍

Is 15 tooth pinion the best to go with without the motor getting too hot?

I haven’t changed a thing with gears since installing the 15 tooth pinion. It lets me rip around the back yard or bmx track each pack without overheating to bad. Just ran it last week at my local hobby shops track and it was 95 that day. It was crazy hot in NJ for a few days. I was pretty much full trigger on every straight. Ran for about 15 minutes before the pack died. What an absolute blast it was!!!! So underrated in my opinion. Tested the temp I think it was 190ish. It was pretty hot but motor is good still. Definitely going with a fan and heat sink on the stock setup for my next time out if it’s that hot again. I think the Max 10 G2 140amp 4000kv combo would be an awesome setup in this. It’s 4s rated esc but 3s motor. I’m not sure if the Max 10 G2 80 amp 4200kv combo would have the power. 👊👊👍👍

I really do enjoy the 4Tec but the Hobao VTE Hyper is a much bigger 1/7 scale and it’s a faster on road car. The Hobao VTE is only a roller and will be more then double the cost of the Traxxas 4Tec. Hobao makes a 1/10 touring car the Habao Hyper H4 1/10 road car kit but I haven’t seen that in stock recently. Hope this helps a bit 👊👊👍👍
