This video is very emotional in a lot of ways: Una, nobody ever imagined -- not Dolphy, Maricel, nor all the artists there, not even Nida Blanca herself -- that in three years' time, hindi na natin sya makakasama. This was shown in 1998; Nida left us in 2001. Pangalawa, there should've been more closeups of Nida. May blunder pa nga sa production dahil they failed to focus the cam on her as she sang her solo line. Pero bumawi naman dahil nakailang closeups din ang ginawa ng director after (but there should've been more considering sya ang "lifetime partner" ni Dolphy in his career). Bumawi rin 'yung director by picking up Nida's mic kaya kung mapapansin n'yo, angat na angat ang boses nya. Si Nida lang yata ang tama ang pagkanta -- and a very good singer hands down! She sang the song just like how Celeste Legaspi did in Katy! The Musical. Pati 'yung suspension, 'yung tono, 'yung pagbitaw ng lyrics kuhang-kuha ni Ms Nida. The rest of them mali ang pagkakanta. Isa pa, tingin ko dapat nasa tabi ni Zsa-Zsa si Nida -- Z, Nida, Maricel -- silang tatlo ang dapat nasa gitna and highlighted. I know Z is family and common-law wife pero in terms of career, di hamak na mas maraming pinagsamahan sina Dolphy and Nida (+ the John en Marsha family). Ang isa pang napansin ko na naging emotional ako is at Nida's last closeup towards the end of the song, habang kinakanta 'yung linyang "BAGO TULUYANG LUMISAN" sabay closeup kay Ms Nida and timing sa word na "lumisan." Emotional 'yung moment kasi alam na natin ang nangyari three years after this.
