Looks like great fun, what a nice yacht! Thanks for the video.

does it have watermaker? how did you live with so little water for seven days.
@thomaslarsson1625 Жыл бұрын
It doesn’t have a watermaker. We travelled from the boat yard in Denmark along the Swedish east coast to Stockholm and stayed overnight in marinas, so we could top up the watertank frequently. We could however go for a week without refilling as we also had a tap for seawater, which in the Baltic Sea is fine for washing dishes etc. We sold the boat a few years ago though. Our current boat has a lot bigger water tank (650 litres), which is very convenient!

I opened this video because I wanted to know about THE BOAT, you idiots. I am not at all interested in the music. I consider it a worthless, stupid distraction. Tell me about the boat. I do not know who is advising you but FIRE he, she, it or them, IMMEDIATELY. I would not purchase a Yabba Dabba Doo, music video, deathtrap, hole in the water, sub-aqueous tub from you, based upon this idiocy, ever. It is unfortunate, because I really liked your boats previously. What the hell happened to you?

nice video, but one thought: if you have a "trailerable Trimaran" delivered by sea, HOW do you place the boat on the trailer when you get to your home yacht club??- as this type of boat normally comes with a custom trailer.
@thomaslarsson16253 жыл бұрын
Although you can trailer a Dragonfly 32, it´s too large for most people to do so. It doesn´t come with a trailer, but one can be ordered from the factory. A boat this size would probably be lifted onto a trailer with a crane.
@pecopeco5907 Жыл бұрын
it has low draft with the centerboard up. you should be able to motor it onto the trailer on a boat ramp. this is not advertised as a trailerable trimaran tho. sure you can get a wide load permit, but how easy it is to lower/raise the mast is a question.

Show me some real sailing...anyone can do that on flat water. Show me some Southern Indian Ocean action. Then I will consider buying one of these toy boats
@Invertatude3 жыл бұрын
There's a video of a guy doing the North West and North East Passage in a Corsair (smaller budget version of a Dragonfly basically) would that be acceptable? Kinda hard to find because the trip wasn't about the boat but as part of a climate change awareness trip.

So this boat can handle open ocean without problems?
@thomaslarsson16254 жыл бұрын
rolando figueroa in theory it should, as it is has CE category A. But it’s only a 32ft boat and I would probably think twice before sailing in open ocean and rough seas. Since this video I have sold the boat.

Thomas Larsson Thomas, where were you sailing? What was your experience overall with the boat? They look a lot of fun to sail, but what about the overall experience with the swing system and seaworthiness?
@ZoneTelevision6 жыл бұрын
Avg. 85 nm a day = 3.54 kns/hr Definitely a consequence of light winds.
@thomaslarsson16256 жыл бұрын
As mentioned in earlier comment, we only sailed during 10-15 hours per day. When the wind was dropping and we were sailing below 5kn, we turned on the engine.

I am very interested in Drgonfly 32 with wheel. I have Prout 38 Catamaran in Japan but I hope I woudl have DragonFly 32 because of the speed and the angle of upwind. I had a plan to visit the factory this summer but unfortunately I coud not. It will be long way to bring her to Japan. I realy impressed your beautifull video angle and it will be reference. Thanks, Our blog is blogs.yahoo.co.jp/evergreen_yacht

Thanks! We were only doing around 15-17 knots, we were carrying to little sailarea most of the time. Very gusty conditions with winds ranging from 15 to 40 knots. Mucho adrenalina! :)

Fabulous - thank you. We don't see enough videos of Dragonflys on the open sea - especially the 32 Supreme. Such a great yacht.

Hi! The reason that you can't watch on mobile devices is because of the music in the video. I'm thinking about adding some free music instead but I haven't had time for that! I'm glad you like it. We sailed only during day time, we sailed/motored around 85nm per day, which took us between 10-15 hours per day. We had mostly light winds though, which is the reason for the slow progress. //Thomas
