Thanks for this. 😊 I'm lucky in the Daisy is easy to please 😂. I feed her a veterinary prescription diabetic kibble (with a couple of spoonfuls of wet to spice it up). She will also happily take the kibble as treats through the day. I know how many calories she is meant to have and just take a handful out of her daily allowance for treats. The impact her walk has on bg is very clear. I do live in a place where it is very hot in summer so she only gets a walk in the morning before the sun gets up....but we go for an hour at least. I'm hoping come autumn winter spring, the 2 walks will be of huge benefit to her.

i had a cuscing and diabetic dog during 10 years, he got sick at 4 years old, never had a problem with thos sweet angel.....Except the kifestyle, never let him alone, never travel etc. bit it was fine for me, having him was the more important thing in my life !!! He passed away , 14 years old, very hard for me. Few months ago, my vet call me to say she had a diabetic cat in her clinic, the former owner not want to take care of the cat, bring him to the vet to put him down, the vet said no and begin to try found a loving home for this adorable cat..... He's mine now, have a sensor, a diet etc.....This sensor is amazing, my cat doesn'tneed a tee shirt, he's very calm and sweet , he's a ragdoll !!! Sorry for my poor english, i'm french, but i think the greatest issues are the cost and the dedication to the pet. dog or cat.

My cat uses the libre 2 and the sensors tend to stop working after about 8 to 10 days. Only once did it last 14. I like the peace of mind using the sensor gives, no blood picks to her delicate ears.

Iv had my dog on novilin N for a year and a half, now at 38 units , my vets nutritional advice is "no people food " ,and I guess we just blast him till he gets there or dies!...I'm so frustrated ,do I need a new vet?

This is our first Christmas without Charlie.. it is so comforting to know that his ashes (which are under the Christmas tree) his favorite place to be until we were opening presents and of course he would step up to supervise…and it is our Charlie and not just ashes of many animals cremated that day., although they too deserve the love and respect. The kindness of Tammy and her staff to me and the way they took care of Charlie when he died was so comforting. Charlie was the best and most unique cat one could ever hope to have and love. My 15 yr old Shi-Poo has been on this when the first onset of symptoms (coughing) happened, this was 2 years ago. However for some reason he's on 2.5mg 2x a day, when labels say 1.25, 2x a day for a 10-11lbs dog. 5mg a day is for a dog double his size.

I believe ... and it is also being done at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Center. It's not experimental ... but they have not been doing it for very long.

Our little dog is on Pimobendan. I was under the impression that it delayed symptoms of CHF by about two years. We have had our dog seen by vet cardiologists in Minnesota.
