31:40 I understood Sullee's comment here, because a white person talking that revolutionary-type talk *can* crash and burn with Black audiences. But I can see why Just Rhyme's bars (31:09) went over well with the barbershop crowd. It's because he was doing it the right way, kind of sending a message of *authentic* allyship to his fellow white people-e.g. "White people can ride, but we gotta have sense, too." In other words, he was saying that white people can't just make a few politically correct-sounding noises and expect to be embraced by Black communities; they have to put some skin in the game and make real contributions to the fight against racism. He ended by spitting, "Let's get behind the Black folks-we'll topple the towers." In other words, he was saying white people need to join wholeheartedly in the struggle against white supremacy and take their cues from Black leaders and communities, not try to take the reins themselves. If a white person wants to earn respect and credit from Black folks, *THAT'S* the right way to get their point across.

He used to spin old school hip hop as a dj and dabbled in fast lyrics, similar to rap before he got mainstream, so he associated, no?
