You guys are like the hanz and franz of the DJ world X) i absolutely love it!!

The first one is laid back luke he is very much a real DJ douche bags . A DJ job is to provide a music to an audience and as long as the crowd is enjoying the music they are doing the job . Your egos are bloated and you need better shit to do . Most tracks are produced in the studio now DJs back in the 90s especially hip hop dJs didn’t mix any original tracks they used other artists shit and just mixed . If you make a banging ass track in the studio throw it to the mixer what else is there to do besides turn white noise flange and drop another track ? My friend is a wedding DJ or basically a glorified song changer but he still gets to the next song smoothly and I still consider him a real DJ .

What is this VST though? Is it an interface to an actual Virus, I can't find it?
@PARANDROID18 күн бұрын
Yes it is the Virus TI Plugin. There are VSTis modeled after the virus but this one you can only use if you own the Hardware (any of the TI Synth Family)

I had forgotten about Access Virus, its very eye and ear opening to hear that it still sounds very top level compared to everything. I finally have a little money to buy some hardware for the first time since 1977 and thinking about a small modular case full of insane shit, but I should consider getting a used Virus too, thanks for the idea.
@PARANDROID19 күн бұрын
You should indeed! it`s also so much more than just synth brother. It`s a interface, effect processor, vocoder and so forth.

I have been thinking do these fake DJ's have conscious? Arent they embarrassed? WTF is happening? This is one of the prime reasons I gave up DJ'ing even though I am passionate about the profession and music.

Hahahhahaha. Ok so picture this. We go on a grand stage. A huge crowd is awaiting both of our performances. I will play the Virus and you play whichever VSTi you want. Which performance will be more enjoyed by the recipients? You are funny really :) And if you believe this then that is totally fine. Good luck with your VST "Synths"

@@audionerdzmusicschool ...?? huh? .. idk what you mean? whos using VSTs ? nothing i said was funny i just would like to own a TI 2 desktop for travel because my 61 keyboard TI is so heavy and hard to transport compared to a quarter of the size of the desktop rack ..its just easier to leave at home studio and play live with the desktop rack version TI2...but cool story anyways lol... and i dont use my virus plug in as much as i should ..i play the hardware everyday and consolidate my preset banks and load all presets for a project with plugin in DaW at start of writing then bounce out ...i use Bitwig so there isnt as much VST action anyway..

I saw a video of goldy in this room and thought that must sound shit…. Set up pirate radio studios and the music just sounds more centred around the kick n snare with 6mm foam on walls… 8” monitors deal with the mids and tops and the 18” sub deals with the bass.. all the DJs loved how clean it sounded in a room 8ftx12ft

Yes I`d say. Virus TI is implemented via USB which makes it easy. And it still is that unbeaten sonic Monster. There is still nothing coming even close to it in many regards. usability in 2024 is top notch imo.

Very good video!! I accept this ..to make everything from the source and less eq! But I think about the difference of Bazzism and Kick 2 it's not too much far away if you understand how kick 2 it works...because I'm making kicks both of them and I can make the envelope and the pitch as well! Kick 2 has very nice clicks with more details..but bazzism is old skool but very good to make easy kicks!!
