Thank you for this, you didn’t have to go out of your way to say anything let alone write something so in depth and straight from the heart. I appreciate it a lot even while in such a low place. Ahh yay you’re here! 🤗 yes, like I said the sugar bowl isn’t unfamiliar territory and it’s exhausting but just what needs to be done right now unfortunately. Oh boy, yeah all my friends either split or they moved and we fell out of touch. Most of my friends I’ve met in treatment centers and it’s hard to maintain those for various reasons, but still my love remains. LOL @ the Kodah merch idea, hey maybe one day. He would be smiling down so proud! He was my best friend, the absolute greatest dog and we had quite the story together that maybe I’ll do a video on one day. I’ll always take suggestions! Oh I never knew that’s how you came across my channel. I’m really happy you said that - I’m on the same page as you, she was so important, her entire story is so important and everyone decided to glorify her gore or completely forget. It breaks my heart. I guess maybe what I meant about my refusal to give up acting makes more sense if I relate it to why Christine did what she did. She loved her line of work, but she wasn’t getting anywhere with it. She was being forced to do work that she didn’t agree with, that didn’t make her feel worthy. She wanted to make a difference and connect with her audience, not dramatize the news. That (and so many other tragedies in her life) drove her to give the whole industry a big f*** you. I understand why she did it but I wish she hadn’t. I’ll always remember her for who she wanted to be, her relentless ambition that we share, and how hard she fought until the bitter end. I highly recommend watching “Christine” (2016) on Netfix. It’ll give you an incredible inside look. You hold so much hope for her, no matter how many times I watch it I feel hope. But you know how it ends. And the biggest thank you for the acting compliment ☺️ Rebecca Hall in that film was robbed of an Oscar! I started therapy in first grade, on and off throughout the years until finally got settled with my current therapist. We’re going on six years. I find it helpful. I must if I keep going back. But it’s so hard when I can’t get passed this desire to die. That’s where we get stuck. But she’s a huge comfort to me and my only support, so it’s funny, yes, it’s the only thing I have to look forward to as well. I go twice a week😬 We’re currently doing intensive exposure therapy where you basically talk about specific traumatic events in your life as if it was happening in the present. I suffer from C-PTSD and part of that comes with severe flashbacks, so the whole point of this treatment is to almost “desensitize” me to the events that occurred in my life so we can then process them. I feel like I’m not making much progress 🙁 But I will keep trying. I appreciate your comments and authenticity. I’m always happy to interact and answer any questions. I believe you are one of two interactive viewers right now, but that is enough for me ☺️ I hope you stick around and I’m glad you can find some comfort in relating to my thoughts.

@@Gigi_honeymoon Oh yeah I’ve seen that film 4 times in 2 weeks now. It’s a great film and Rebecca hall is amazing in it but it does miss out some important information about Christine. For example, she was dating someone who tragically lost their life in a car crash. Also, she got the idea to end her life with a handgun from a police officer. She told her boss that she wanted to do a story on suicide so she spoke to a police officer and asked for the best way to commit suicide. I guess I get that it’s just a film and not a documentary though. Anyway I just feel so connected to her, like I feel me and her could have been great friends even though I’m 22 and she would be like 70 something now. I’ve been in and out of therapy for a few years now and I’ve found a therapist who I truly can connect to. My therapist is one of the only reasons I’m still alive. Have you seen Kate plays Christine? I’m not a fan but there is a scene where the weatherman, that used to be a colleague of Christine, shows interview footage of her speaking. Thanks for reading and responding !

oh my gosh, you sound like me. It’s awful to say but that movie is my “comfort movie” I watch it so much. I agree they left out some important stuff, I heard about how she came up with the handgun idea from the officer, that whole story. I was a little disappointed they left that out because it changes the narrative quite a bit, but I did find her walking into the secret gun shop for the first time, so intense. Her curiosity, the lights flickering on, her holding the gun for the first time. It was agonizing yet bewitching to watch, you could feel what she was feeling. So I did like what they did there, although I know it’s not exactly how it went down. I never knew about the person she dated who was in a car crash actually - and I feel like I’ve done all my research so wow!! That’s absolutely tragic. I have seen Kate Plays Christine….I hated it 🤣 but like you said the only part I was moved by, was when we got to see footage of her. All I wanted to do was hug her. Like I picture Rebecca Hall as “The Christine” but of course she was a real person…and it’s so rare to find anything about her out there. So seeing her mannerisms, the way she speaks, even though it was such a short clip…ugh just breaks my heart. Overall I thought the idea of a documentary within a documentary (mockumentary) that they didn’t even go through with was stupid. Maybe the point they were trying to make was let’s not glamorize it, but it wasn’t done well in my opinion. I’m happy, so happy, you have a reason to stay. I know it can be hard when your therapist is your only reason. But continue working with him/her and in time you’ll see a shift, and more people in your life will just come when the time is right. I know that sounds kinda…disheartening maybe? But I promise the shift always comes. And you will find your people who make you feel like you want to stay here ❤️ I will always respond, unless I’m gone my friend! Take care

No not per say - they just won’t hire you for the film or even audition. It’s not every single film, like some indie films are cool with just showing you tested negative. But in the actual industry like SAG-AFTRA it’s required, or they simply won’t hire you.

No sneezing allowed! 😉 Anything that causes pressure in the nose could affect the healing (plus it would hurt really bad). I’ve had to sneeze a few times - you gotta just hold it back or they recommend trying to sneeze out of your mouth.

@@TransparencyBodycam it would have but I did not! you have to sneeze through your mouth (as gross as that is) otherwise you’ll disrupt your nasal passages. Doctors orders 🤓
