An unfair poke at Kingdom Come, who did produce a couple of tracks that were definitely Zeppelin based but also had their own sound, that enabled them to make some great albums. Sadly the press essentially destroyed them. Ironically, Zeppelin had not been around for 8 years and in my opinion, those tracks that were Zep esque were infinitely better than most of In Through The Outdoor and a fair bit of Physical Graffiti. In fact they would have graced any Zeppelin album had they come up with them themselves. Oddly enough though, this Moore/Ozzy collaboration wasn't really that good and is essentially more of an insult to the fans that had to purchased this because it was on the album.

I'm confused, gary is Irish but his accent is very English. I'm confused because I read in an interview that he has a Belfast accent??

Huge regret not going to a Bob Dylan gig in my town, a guitarist friend went and told me Dylan was utter crap but Garys 20minute support slot was unforgettable, R.I.P Gary Moore.

I'm 65 yo...I play guitar...a kid asked me once who were my influences...course, I rattled off jimi hendrix, jimmy page, clapton, blah blah blah...but who really inspired me to be brave enuff to pick up a guitar was Mason Williams, with his classic "classical gas"...I think I was 10 when I first heard it...I told myself I am going to learn to play that song one day...and I did...I was about 12 when I finally picked up a guitar...spun 45s to learn chords...I can get my way around the fretboard...but then the final question was "who is your fav"...well, that was easy: Gary Moore...I've heard all the masters...GM is otherworldly...he is still my #1 guitarist of all time...he took the noumenal and manifest it through the phenomenal...he's no longer top side, but he's still here...Gary Moore, you are loved.
