The 250 is nice for that mid to cold weather hooded 150 would be nice for hot weather.

The 250 is my favorite peace of gear. Also the puffy wish we had some puffy pants for those cold glassing days some type of button off or zipper off puffy pant.

We would recommend the Velocity Merino for September hunts in most situations! They’re more lightweight than the Aptitude Pants and therefore will better suit you for most September hunts!

Thanks for reaching out!! We would suggest layering the 250 Merino Base with the Aptitude Softshell along with either the Vision Hybrid or the Clement Puffy. The Clement is warmer but it's louder than the Vision Hybrid. The softshell is slightly on the loud side but it has a windproof membrane which really helps with heat retention. Hope this helps!!
