There’s a clip on the right side that lines up with the side panel you’re supposed to use to hold the carpet up. No bungee needed unless your clip is missing or broken.

My good God almighty do not tell me you started that car with no oil in it... My old man used to say a little knowledge is dangerous... And you are very very dangerous... So many things wrong in this video... That car calls for 0w 30 not 10W-30 FRAM oil filters are the worst in the business you did not tighten up the oil filter tight enough and you didn't put any oil in it to prime the pump... Because you started it without any oil in it you have damaged the bearings and probably the camshaft as well. This should be an example of a video on what not to do for an oil change

It’s not about distance travelled with no oil, it’s the fact you started it period, with no oil. Terrible on your part 👎

Shame on you for running the engine with no oil! Extremely poor video!
@deanh28113 ай бұрын
You know why it’s only trickling out? It’s because you have the back of the car to high, most of the oil is resting towards the front of the oil pan

The dust protection cuff of the brake piston shown is defective. And the work is much easier if you also unscrew the second brake calliper screw. Frankly, I have also never seen that someone only changes one side - everyone always advises against it.
@Denb74 ай бұрын
#1 The dust boot did not retract properly on the first try. It was not damaged. However, before I completed the job I repeated the cylinder compression and the boot did set properly along the cylinder. The video has a full screen pop-up text explaining this. #2 No need to unscrew the second caliper screw if the job can be completed without doing so. #3 The video shows only one side being done, but the other side was more of the same, so I only showed one side.

Time to try this.i literally have over 50 use sticks of deodorant where I keep throwing them in the bottom drawer just in case I ever run out I might be able to get a little use tull u get more plus so many of them actually detached on their own when it got to low and just became a pain trying to use it so then id just cap it and get a new stick so there's quite a few sticks with a forth or more of deodorant still there.i hope this works.
@Denb75 ай бұрын
Good luck. Just be sure to go slowly doing small amounts at a time. Otherwise it'll melt through and come out the bottom. It's better to add a small amount onto a half stick than add a bunch onto an almost empty stick.
@YouThePeople.5 ай бұрын
@@Denb7 thought I had already responded but I filled them before I read your message and yes on some of them it did come out the bottom but quickly dried and I just remelted it and to be honest so far so good.this was perfect timing for me because I like to stock up and have supply on everything and I was about to go spend around $25 on deodorant but after doing this I was able to make 8 full sticks from all my left over sticks.i used a Styrofoam cup which was easy to Pour from.Saved me about $25 or so.Thanks!!

Congratulations on being the first comment on this video in 10 years! I never expected it to ever get any more views. I gave up on Movie Maker a long time ago, after Microsoft made major changes to the program and took away the features that allowed creativity. They dumbed down the program so much that I switched to editing on an iMac. Maybe I'll try revisiting Movie Maker again... Thanks

I loved this video, read all the comments and was surprised to see that no one mentioned the blues music added to the video. It made a good video great! I also got to thinking that if this were antiperspirant which contains aluminum, maybe it could be melted in a metal ladle held in a cup of microwave boiled water, it seems worth a try. Yes, I am a cheapskate too.
@Denb7 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the compliment. If I recall correctly, the blues guitar was played by a friend of mine. I know about the aluminum used in antiperspirants, but I never use antiperspirants so I've never tried it. Good luck in your goal of saving a few cents with every package.

Big mistake to start the engine before you filled it up with oil! You are sure not a mechanic!
@Denb7 Жыл бұрын
I never claimed to be a mechanic, because I'm not. The engine ran for 33 seconds at an idle speed with only the residual oil in the crankcase for lubrication. Sure, there was no pressurized lubrication (evidenced by lifter noise), but a measurable level of damage would be no worse than repeatedly cranking an engine that refuses to start.

Excellent detail on where things are and clip tricks needed to work on it. I also notice that there appears to be a square channel in the motor housing that connects from right near the brushes through the firewall. Might be a fresh air inlet. I wonder if some combination of compressed air, vacuum cleaner and/or a touch fog of WD40 through this channel might solve the problem without dismantling.
