This video popped into my feed and I’m glad it did. Great job extracting yourself to safety. A good reminder how things can go south quickly out there in the wilderness

@@ruggedland thank you! I appreciate that! I’ll tell you, it was such a crazy situation that happened so quickly, it literally took me until I was at the hospital to realize I was still in shock. I’m just hoping others catch this video and see how things can go from a great day, to a survival situation in a blink of an eye. Thank you for your comment and be safe out there!!

@@alquinn8576 you’re absolutely right! I didn’t realize until after I made the video. I put it in the description but it annoys me! I knew someone would notice lol!

Enjoyed the hike video! I've never been to Mirror Lake yet in the park. Last year my wife and I hiked from the Corral Creek TH over to Flatiron Mountain in the RMNP. It was a long day but a fun adventure.

Nice fish guys! I live just above the spot you were catching the reds at :). ADFG closed the set net sites on the west side of Cook Inlet to try and let more King salmon into the Kenai river and the side effect is many more Sockeye as well!
