Are the LFB going to update their typical Engine design as they're looking dated and old fashioned. They also need proper Train horns.

@@ivortoad They will be getting new pumps soon but the new one keeps on breaking at the moment. Also the TL’s and FRU’s aren’t that old so why would they need an upgrade already? They upgrade their appliances every 10-20 years

Nice catch, presumably this was the teaser from last week. I noticed from the Wikipedia fleet list that there's a lot more single vehicle stations than I realised, (23 in all)presumably because of the "cuts "10 years ago ,some I remember used to have 2+ before the cuts.

What is the rescue loader? Never seen it before!

@@shanehewitt8956 Gets used for Bariatric patients (overweight) for rescuing at height for them type of people. It also has the red thing called the rescue loader then they will put a stretcher onto it for a bariatric person. Never seen it been mobilised with my own eyes first time ive seen it happen and the swap over took them 10-15 minutes to do everything!

It replaces the bucket and allows for a stokes basket to be easily attached to the end of the boom, meaning casualties restricted to their bedroom/living room etc can be taken out of a window safely.
