Man wished this was longer! I would love to solo longer, this is the best version on the internet right now hands down! You guys nailed the snare tone on the percussion that's studio quality and not that 70's raspy tone. How much for the longer version? I'm fine with this mix but it needs at least 6 measures at the end with proper percussion ending.
@Musicunlocked.5 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏. We tried to get it as accurate as possible. When you say a longer version what are you after? This is obviously the same as the original version
@IshredGuitar5 ай бұрын
@@Musicunlocked. It's accurate but for a instrumental version you need at least 6 measures at the end, you guys faded it out after 1 measure. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIKQXpiqpZWrg8k&start_radio=1

There should be about 4 bars after the solo before it fades? In the link in description you can purchase the stems to create your own custom backing track.

@@Musicunlocked. Can I get the backing track with 6 bars at the end with a drum/percussion ending?
@Musicunlocked.5 ай бұрын
@@IshredGuitar Yea absolutely. The stems will download as WAV files which you can throw into any DAW (Logic, Pro Tools, Garageband etc), and you can then make any edits you want to the structure really easily. They also come with a click. If you check the description on the video you can see a link to the downlaod page. The stems come as follows Drums Acoustic 12 String Elect rhythm Solo gtr Bass Fender Rhodes / Keys Recorders Give it a try, i think you will have a lot of fun with it 🙂

Thank you. The Fender 12 is a lovely guitar. At the time of recording I had only recently bought it on eBay, the action was a little high and I didn’t want to risk lowering it myself and messing up the intonation right before we recorded), so I tuned it down to Eb and stuck a capo on 1st fret, worked a dream. Just a straight DI into mic pres, it’s like instant Stairway without even trying 😊

Great tutorial. Would be perfect if you were consistent with your bar chord diagrams. You switch the number of the frets on top or bottom and it is a bit confusing

I was wondering if it was me! I’m glad I looked further down on the comments! His angle on the guitar 🎸 needs to be adjusted also. It was hard to see. I guess I’m used to the fret diagram being vertical instead of horizontal. His fret diagram did not seem to match his finger, “hand,” location? Made it hard to follow. I found another video that was easier to follow.

You mentioned a Cb with a Db in the bass. Do you mean a B with a Db in the bass?
@Musicunlocked.6 жыл бұрын
No, I mean Cb with Db in the bass. Cb & B are both the same, they are known as enharmonic notes (2nites which share the same pitch) However, in the hey of Eb minor there is no B, it’s a Cb. So the chord is technically a Cb / Db. If you look at it as a B it will sound the same, it’s just confusing should you need to write it down or if you find yourself in a rehearsal like situation with other musicians who are all working it out.
@toddtoho36066 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I have never heard that before. I always thought because there is no semi tone between B/C and E/F. It was one or the other. Meaning there is no B# (C) or Cb (B), or E#(F) or Fb (E). I love I am still learning. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed the video, and was able to learn the song with ease. I thank you for the posting.
