That's an interesting looking watch.

I was up to 18 at one point. Scaled down to 12 & found that some watches weren’t being worn. I’m now down to 8 & that seems to be a solid count for me … enough variety & everything gets worn. Collection size is highly subjective.

Be glad that you got a watch at all. After my Pelagos order from Aliexpress for 130 euros, I received two small packages of worthless plastic bags. The seller didn't even respond and is still allowed to offer his "watches" on Aliexpress. I paid extra more and chose a seller with better reviews, unfortunately it didn't help. Never again!

It does resemble the device used to communicate basic commands from the pilot’s bridge to the engine room. That piece of equipment is called an “Engine Order Telegraph” or “E.O.T.” and isn’t actually a throttle but rather just a method of communicating instructions to the engineers. I’ve also heard it called a “Chadburn” but I don’t know why and some still refer to the ship’s throttle as an “E.O.T.” though technically it isn’t. Just some useless trivia for you Kevin from someone born and raised on the coast around a lot of boats. Cool watch!

I like the Superocean, but it's not a logic watch, much thicker with less water resistance. you dont need this thickness for just a 200 meters

Zodiac is probably my favorite brand (Ive accumulated 5 lol), but they really aren't good build quality for the money. At 20% off they're still a bit expensive, but unless it's a limited release color you are in love with I'd recommend pre-owned or waiting for a deeper discount (e.g. I picked up 3 of mine for $600 each new from a clearance website)

When I saw this watch for the first time, I fell in love.

Do the bracelets feel exactly the same? I know some homage bracelets get the look down but when you crumple it up and let go it’s all stiff whereas the regular bracelet is silky smooth when you crumple it and let go it hangs perfectly straight
