a swimming pool is dangerous and any landlord would not allow it. These people can't just make up their own rules.

What people don’t seem to understand is that this can happen to them too. There are equity partnerships out there buying up veterinary practices and emergency rooms and doctors offices and more. They squeeze for profits, so just how long will it be before it affects all you people who feel so superior to the folks in this report? The rich only care about getting more money.

Very important to learn English both spoken and written so these parasitic landlords can’t take advantage of you. Perhaps the state should have bought up these parks instead of eating money on pet projects and waste. Also Hirst is a Republican. Surprise surprise

You think the divided states has a bad homeless problem now? You just wait till these narcissist sociopath felons get finished with us . And as you'll see in the comments it's your fault that you're poor. You need to understand our leaders have switched up the gospel of Jesus to exalt themselves and fit their greed into the prosperity gospel. This way the more money you got the more God loves you and God is blessing you with money😂 poor people are poor because they're lazy sinful and are rejecting God That's right. Refer to Donald Trump's preacher or Kenneth Copeland

Do they not have a contract? Or do they just raise the price at the end of the contract time? I see that people who rent apartment are also facing these same issues. Unfortunately, no where do prices remain the same year after year.CAN WE LEGIMITELY EXPECT PRICES TO NOT GO UP?

A "JUDAS" IS ONE, WHO "SELLS OUT" THE "WELL-BEING OF ANOTHER", FOR THE WORTH OF SOMETHING ELSE.... THAT'S AMERICAN CAPITALISM ! Where one another is of worth, there is no cost.... it's Priceless ! Have no other worth (God), besides Me to rival Me.... LET'S FIGHT TO END CAPITALISM !

Any time you claim its the fault of the Mobile Home Park, and there should be Price Control, the end result is the Park owner closing the Park and redevelopment of the land. There is a law that requires 60 day notice if the park is for sale, and allow them to make an offer to buy the park. I've run the numbers many times as an RV Park owner and it never achieves a lower cost to the tenants. Tenants would need a government non profit to provide the financing for the purchase. For parks that get such bailouts think they are in the clear going forward. That is not the case because non profits end up not wanting to hold properties that cause massive losses. The end results in loss of the Park to redevelopment. The major problem starts with the city and the planning department never allowing any development of mobile home parks. This causes the redevelopment to a higher best use of the land. My RV Park will soon be redevelopment into apartments in 3 years, and the city will offer welcome hands to approve this request. It's all about property taxes. Mobile Home Parks provide the lowest cost for housing than apartments. If you can't afford lot rent, then you can't afford apartment rent either. Your in for surprise if you think the government will come to your aid by offering you a tent to live in on the street.

George Carlin has already told you what's going on you don't have political representation That's Just an Illusion what this country has is owners. I'm in the market right now for land and a mobile home and I won't buy a piece of land that I don't own outright. Of course I'm not so naive to understand that there is not eminent domain but I am in the business of risk mitigation. Do everything you can do it you're in to make sure that property can never be taken away from you. This not only happens in trailer parks this is happened in neighborhood developments with standard housing. You can't know the future and sometimes even when you do your best it doesn't work out. I know what it's like to have no money because I'm living that right now my bank account typically ends the month with $25.

I'm just perplexed as to why are there so many older Americans who don't own their homes. My family are immigrants, came here with nothing to our names, yet we bought a condo within 2 years of arriving here and sold that a 1 year later and purchased our 1st home in Southern California. I witnessed many immigrants doing the same thing. So why are these people in their 60's and over who were born here not owning their homes?
@rlbrown-js9nsКүн бұрын
They lived beyond their means they did no financial planning. In our education system we spend zero amount of time teaching people how to use finances and how taxes and money actually works and what they should be doing. Instead we're having gender studies and moral lessons. You say everybody needs to know how to handle money especially if you don't have much of it but it's just not a priority and it keeps people poor❤

So glad to see this documentary about Hurst and Son, predatory mobile home park owners. We are fighting back in Bremerton Washington and our rally is shown in this documentary. It's so nice to see more and more investigative documentaries done on this subject. This is a very disgusting predatory business that doesn't belong in America.

WARREN BUFFET owns more trailer parks than any other individual, and the 1st step is to double and triple rents. When the residents cannot cover the increases, they're forced to leave their homes, as trailers canNOT be moved.

4:26 interject. Not exactly the same family background and upbringing but things in common: mom who almost always cooked our meals - dad who while brief it was during our time in Palm Springs, made fresh pasta, used the tangerines from the tree at the house to make marmalade, and climbed up the palm tree\s out front, prepped them for the ripening of the dates - breakfast, got our lunches ready for school and dinners. And, in my mid to late twenties, it seemed to come natural to me being and working in my home kitchen. Wherever that may’ve been. Since 2007, I’m not as altogether as Kamala is, but, cooking my own meals is crucial to keeping a semblance of togetherness while the invisible unknowns have me at tethers and wits end. Cooking and keeping a tidy kitchen isn’t just important, it’s really fun, too. 24:26 fantastico!
