Holy Sh!t are you serious? Yes it is very easy to replace. Your back Panel cracked, correct? If so very easy and not expensive at all. So easy you can do it. Order a backplate on eBay and go find Jerry rig everything tear down video. Just follow his steps of how to heat up and take off the back panel. That's it.

My fingerprint scanner still works fine after the new glass screen protector installation. It does not matter if you install it when the device is on or off. You can install it whenever you want to. I do advise (after installation) delete your fingerprints and resubmit your new fingerprints.

I know.... Makes you not even want to use another phone. I still can't get last how fast this charges. I mean, I've had every other one plus device but after using a slow charging pixel or Galaxy it makes me wonder why they can't fully charge in under 30 minutes 🤷

Samsung will be. The new S25 series that is released this week will have the same CPU but who knows if the optimization will be on par with OnePlus OS. We will have to see. We are getting a S25 Ultra and will definitely test and compare. Stay tuned..... Google CPUs get good battery life but not like this. Apple, good battery life but similar story, not this good.

I have both an S24U, 9 Pro XL and now a OP13. Today is day 3 but my first charge i got 12 hours SOT, 22 hours off charger and this is with 5G, Bluetooth and location on.

@@eSIMstudios so I took my Pixel 9 Pro XL off the charger last night, Saturday at 11:00 p.m. it's now Sunday night at 5:30 p.m. final reading is 10 hours and 58 minutes with 8% battery. All on Mobile data WiFi turned off.

Oxygen OS for me. Color OS still has a few system apps that are in mandrin and are uninstallable.

@@wendellthompson6470oxygen OS is the global ROM. Although better than the china only ROM, you also have better carrier band compatibility and be easily able to use your apps with ease and no workarounds. The global version is a little more on the pricy side but well worth it in the end

To my knowledge, mmWave is a "success". It is used by all 3 major USA carriers. Now, some use it in higher capacities than others but a good mix of Sub 6 and mmWave is almost a given for adequate and robust carrier services. I would also assume C Band would be explored by carriers and Apple to implement for future applications, even if it is not widely used in today's carrier Networks. It will be used in the future at some point right? Why not make equipment suitable for all frequencies and bands moving forward. But.... Who knows what they are thinking and or planning for. My knowledge is very surface level. What we don't know are their roadmaps and plans.

@@eSIMstudios Things that will be needed "at some point" aren't necessarily the highest priority today. Apple is determined to be vertically integrated, It isn't an easy road, and they'll willing to break some things if that is what it takes to get there. Their differentiation and maybe some future products depend on it.

@@eSIMstudios My guess is it won't. In fact I think a lot of smartphones don't support mmWave, and of course that is only for the US, Japan, and I forget the other country. The fact that people don't seem to know and/or don't think it is important is a very interesting fact. It's why I'm skeptical that mmWave is a necessary short term goal. QCOM wants you to think it is for sure.

The pixel 9 series significantly upgraded the video quality of the sensors on the pixel 9. Night Sight Video mode is unmatched. I'm about to make a video about that right now

In the past I got a Poco x7 to use here in Colorado, but I sold it due to missing a couple local bands. The Ace 5 Pro also appears to miss a few. I don't care about CDMA as I'm not with Verizon. Any knowledge on this compared to OP13 on bands? What regrets have you found?

I'm still using it off and on. Hinge is still sturdy and provides strength to use the cover as a leg to prop the phone up. Still working fine months later!

Mine is not but I do not take that case outside. The Sun's 🌞 UV rays are what changes the case to a yellow tint color.
