That's my point. He ran a longer distance in less time. Cheserek also ran the 5k in 13:59 in Indoor season...Also national record isn't debatable. Yes, different courses vary in difficulty, but if the national record wasn't decided despite this...there wouldn't be a national record because it's logistically impossible to have courses with the 'same difficulty.'

5k is longer than a 3 mile so they have different records... courses have different levels of difficulty too so a general "national record" is debatable depending on who you talk to

lmfao that's not impressive at all. The 1500m record for a 12 year old is 4:22 and change. that is roughly a 4:40 mile and by those standards you are slow as fuck

@Brady McDougall Illinois runs the 3 mile so if they were able to contiue on at that pace it puts them at a 14:40 or so as
