In case people are interested in sword vs axe stats. I graphed them out, and, assuming you plan on attacking as much as possible instead of hitting every now and then(in which case axe is better), the sword has more dps than the axe of the same kind at every sharpness level for both. You would need a sharp 5 netherite axe to measure up to the dps of a non-enchanted netherite sword. For lower ores that stat is even worse for the axe. It changes with different ores for both, as the iron sword, while doing more dps than a diamond axe, only surpasses it as long as the axe has no sharpness levels added to it, as even with 1 it has greater dps. Stone sword vs diamond axe though, the axe wins as long as the sword has <3 sharpness levels. Comparing a netherite axe to an iron sword is a win for the axe, but under 1 sharpness. It's a lot more nuanced when taking into account different sharpness levels for both, but generally, (ignoring shields and "hit n run" strategies) the sword is 90% of the time better than the axe, unless the choice is between a sword 2 tiers lower than the axe, or the axe is at least 1 tier higher with sharpness enchants, or the axe is of the same (non-netherite) tier and with a several sharpness level advantage.

That just means climbing the ranks is getting harder as the players who are entering top 100 is younger than osu itself while you're getting older and ranking down even tho you're still gaining pp Also it depends on peppy when osu dies
