Yeah, I’m playing on a modded server and had some fps drops caz of huge builds, entities, redstone systems, etc. Think is a single core limited issue. Can be minimized with some mods like nvidium, etc but for me is imposible caz of compatibility issues so bad luck for me c:

I mean can you even use those mods in 1.12.2? Because that's sadly the reason why it gets very laggy I hope one day they release a version for at least 1.16 That can Solve a Lot of lag issues

If you use a 4090 + i9-14900k or r7 7800x3D (which are the fastest cpus/gpu at gaming right now) you will see exactly the same thing (low gpu usage). Is Minecraft being uncapable of using the entire power. In other words Minecraft only uses 1 single core. Only way to use 100% gpu in minecraft vanilla is by using heavy shaders or/and high res resource packs, so DH mod is even waaaaaay more cpu demanding and I can't use heavy shaders for 100% gpu load caz DH only support a few shaders. As we said default DH chunks is set to 128 and we use even more to stress our cpu so yeah here our cpu is working reeeeally hard which is predictable c: And yeah, waiting for a cpu upgrade n.n

On modded Minecraft you don't "need" a powerful gpu. Minecraft specially modded is huge cpu and ram demanding (I probably go 32GB ram). I've tested tons of modpacks and 4060ti is always 20%/30% max usage, only way to get that number high is by enable some demanding shaders and resource pack. That said, your cpu is good enough (R7 7800X3D) our gameplay guy actually use that cpu in his main pc. Nope, there are several times where fps get over 60. This kind of low rate is only a thing on multiplayer, singleplayer is around 100fps.

I’m not using vsync but I read that game will run at your doble monitor refresh rate (hz) but I don’t know if that’s true. Any way for me looks like game is capped to 120fps, (when I enable vsync I get 60fps)
