Thanks For That Post! I Have A Very Close, Personal Connection With Those Venerable U-Sets; At Springwood, They Made Up The Two Trains: "The Fish," Named After It's First Guard, And "The Chips," Which Followed On. About Sixty Years Ago, My Two Late Brother's Used To Be Shoved On Board Through The Open Windows, As It Was So Crowded; They Made The Daily Trip From Springwood, Going To School At St. Aloysius, At Kirribilli! I Travelled On The U-Sets To Other Schools, And Then To Work. They Were The Fleetest Trains In The Whole Network, Incredibly Fast When They Needed To Be, And Very Powerful, To Make The Climb Into The Mountains!! I Loved The Sound Of The Chopper Motors, Which Seemed The Same As The Red Sets, But Much Faster, And The Smell Of The Ionized Air That They Generated; They Were Exhilarating, In Every Way, With The Streamlined Look Of American Aviation To Them; Indeed, They Were A Budd Corporation Of Pennsylvania Design! I Have An Excellent "Auscision" U-Boat Set Of Four Cars, Two Power Cars, As Well As A Red Set, And XPT!! The U-Set I Would Never Part With; It Reminds Me So Much Of My Dear Brothers, And My Own Youth, Long Gone!! Thanks Again For The Post, The Finale Was Very Sensitively Done; Much Appreciated!! Ever: Adrian J. Larkin.

Caught sight of my self and a mate during one of the stops. The reason why it came to a stop on the hawkesberry river bridge platform allowed 2 or 3 of us to jump off and get a photo of the train there before it continued onto the station
