A few issues that Bayview does not address: They miss the fact that two engines were available so is the same procedure for the CXS Trim level which has a 3.6 L engine? Also they missed important tips: Before you start the engine must be warmed up and the top filler cap should be off. This makes flow out easier and as much Oil as possible leaves. Almost all Car Guys do this by raising the car up by a Floor Jack and resting it on Stands not using a professional Auto Lift. That means it is a lot harder to deal with the Filter. If you are using Car Ramps then you first need to take off the front Splash Guard under the frame because it hangs down and blocks the car from getting up Ramps. Always install a new Gasket-Ring on the Bolt you remove to drain the Oil. The Ring on that always flattens out over times so will eventually start leaking. I've changed the Oil on many different types of cars since I bought my first one in 1974 but after seeing where GM placed things, I'll save myself a lot of hassle and let a Professional mechanic do it in 15 minutes. The cost for a good shop to do this is only about $40 more than me doing it and that doesn't include having all the needed tools and time spent buying everything.

For my 2007 its a ten hour job to take the whole dash apart and all the components to access it. I saw a video years ago and. Cut the access hole in the bottom out.

What? It took me 30 minutes with a leatherman…. You don’t have to pull the cover all the way off… just bend it out of the way, lay on your back on the floorboard and carefully score the plastic with a stiff sharp blade over and over till the air filter slot cuts out…

you do not have to take the tank all the way out to change the pump! it takes me 14 min to change a pump on a mustang 2001. but for the life of me i can not figure out way my mustang does not start on its own. if i use starter fluid it runs fine with no problem.

After replacing my fuel pump, it took 4 hours to re-install the tank (I did it by myself using jack stands and 2 jacks) and all went well except the fuel gauge quit working after a few days when I gassed up again. I had to repair the wire to the float assembly before re-installing everything but I might not have done as good a job as I thought. Can the fuel hat and pump assembly be removed without completely removing the tank (can it be dropped just enough to remove the hat bolts and pull out the assembly)? I want to avoid taking the tank completely off if possible.

QUESTION: At 3:59 to 4 Minutes, and 1 second (into the video), when pulling the Rotor, SOMETHING POPPED. the caliper lies on that. in the video - towards the end, re-assemblying, i didn't see how you put that one back? any help? SERIOUSLY GREAT, EDUCATIVE video. adding just the last part of putting everything back together SCORES a 10/10.
