The Elgar cello concerto is the most boring one in the cello literature.

I listen to this song for years now and just wanted to see if there is a cover version of it. Found this one and now I know what I have to listen to for many years more. What a hit!

Don’t ask me how I got here. Something to do with a google search. This is outstanding. It’s been many years since and no further mention. What’s everyone doing now? I’m a boomer, but I’m dead serious: this was exceptional.

I agree with the other commenters here. Eisley is brilliant but in my opinion The Valley record was the most eloquent expression of their music up to that point (since Room Noises) technically, artistically, and emotionally. This band is a mysterious anomaly in terms of their reach and why they didn't have a bigger audience. They definitely were not slackers in terms of touring, performing, and making music.

Saw Charley in concert a few years ago(before the Covid pandemic) and was so in awe of his music and personality. He is unique in his own way; blues, Cajun, folk. Good music and worth seeing him if you get a chance. I would love to watch him again.
