Problem i'm finding now is when you put the 3 torx bolts back in, the hub then doesn't spin round enough for the long bolts to line up with them - hub spins round 360° with torx bolts out no probs wtf...timing chain isn't connected, maybe that is the issue?

Hi, thanks for watching. No not in this location. I sometimes open the louvres a small amount which lets any warmer air trapped out without letting sun in. I have recently also fitted blinds to the garden side which we use at meal times.
@glennbeavis84787 күн бұрын
When you get the panels on, on a sunny day be interesting to see how, collectively, on a sunny day, the panels replace battery charge as you do a washing cycle. So from using 40% to 50% in a day , lets see if the panels will push it back up to 100%. And if so how long it takes.

Very interesting. I’m looking at doing something similar, but I already have the panels which just heat the hot water and the rest goes to the grid which I don’t receive anything back. So I’d be interested in getting some batteries like yours. Thanks 👍.
@ajinfrance10 күн бұрын
It's all down to the type of inverter that you have and if you have single or 3 phase grid connection. Have a look at the victron website for some more info. If you want to buy batteries then Nikon are the best place for it
@graydollar236311 күн бұрын
Fantastic Andy, very interesting. What kind of draw would the battery take during winter, if you had underfloor electric heating?
@ajinfrance11 күн бұрын
Electric heating of any kind really takes it out of the battery. It depends on the overall size and wattage of the heating. I really wouldn't recommend it. I would use one of the portable oil fired heaters which are super cheap to run. I did a video on them recently. The battery would provide around 15kWh so you could leave a heater or one room underfloor heating on most of the day but it would be empty by nighttime. This will all change when the panels are on though 👍
@graydollar236311 күн бұрын
Thanks Andy, I am in Burgundy. Selling my little cottage and buying something else. I will restore with Hemp bricks and other eco friendly products. I did a lot in the cottage with lime and hemp. I really would like to have solar panels at the next property. I have a couple of those oil fire heaters, that I use in the winter if I am away. When at home the underfloor heating is great and the wood burner keeps me very toasty. Though not liking the EDF bills.
@ajinfrance11 күн бұрын
@@graydollar2363 I don't know your timeframe on this move, but my videos coming up are on using a wood fired boiler stove to heat the house from radiators and underfloor heating. This is in addition to the solar panels. I will fast track the next wood fired boiler video for you. Stand by.

The key here is to prevent water getting behind the screwed insert piece by applying a small bead of silicone where this lip contacts with the shower tray. If this is sealed then in theory the lower rubber gasket is somewhat redundant as water should always escape from the trap waste before it rises to a point where the rubber gasket is needed.
