Hi bro, how to keep the drift speed in jumping and flying, I'm trying not to fail, can you tell me how to do it?

@@foxmen1914 for default controls on ps4 controller it’s square. I believe the default on pc is shift or whatever the drift keybind is. Been a while since I played mouse and keyboard for rocket racing.you basically drift and then flip to help keep the speed, but you also want to hold that drift button down while doing so.

Unfortunately I didn't get a 1:13-1:15 for dsz2 xD, but ye most strats were safe for the most part. It's also just a lot of consistency and safer strats. Also had a 1:51 I believe for erz2 which is crazy good but I still try to aim for a 1:44-1:46 time. I did have the sub 1 for thz2, but you don't really need that sub 1 to get a sub 20, but it does help in case you need to make a few minor mistakes here and there. I should add, that there is a strat that can save some time in acz1 where you do turtle skip with monitor bounce, can end up getting you closer to a 42 time. Would save about another 10 seconds ish.

Yo what do you think is the best the best way to get good at rocket racing fast - I started playing 4 days ago and I just hit unreal #300 but I’m still getting destroyed by the B hoppers

@@TheonewhoisP pretty much takes some time to practice certain tech and making sure you can get it nailed down in practice and ranked. For the Bhops I still can’t get them exactly perfect, but you do just have to get the feel for them with the air roll honestly. I also look at some of the wr runs and try to mimic what they do on Speedrun.com

Funnily enough the route I’m going for can get to a sub 20 and even wr time. I still think there’s 15-30 seconds after sub 20 to get if you go for all the fastest cycles and perfect levels.

I think with the safer Strats that I do even in acz it’s still crazy to see how much I can still save just by playing it safe. Lose 6 seconds there compared to Katie tho with mistakes. Even with monitor bounce in cez is played safe as well. Def sub 20 happening soon for sure.

To anyone wondering how difficult this is: I've spent probably triple digit hour on this map across years and haven't gotten the same cycles at the elevator at one minute mark as him, a single time. Between 20s and 60s we were sometimes resetting runs, just for bumping into a wall because of how tight the timing is. After that you still have probably the most difficult possible layout of appearing/disappearing blocks ahead, requiring a blind jump far into the room, to another long jump dodging all of the glass walls with not so straight trajectory. And ofc you have to beat the rest of the map without choking... GG to Vibez! Insane to see this run!

It’s helps to have over 5 years of experience and practice as well as 2k plus hours of the game lol. As for the computer I think I have a cyberpower pc? Idk it’s been a bit since I looked. I also look at speedruns on speedrun.com so if you’re looking to get started you can go there or join the srb2 speedrunning community discord if you need help on getting started.

@ oh I never use tas. This is just me straight up making a tas cycle for the first time. Also my wr is a 1:41 but this was just to see if a sub 1:40 was possible and it is.

nice time btw you can get a mag flip if you go further right at the jump over the lava i think it mag flips of the chain or tree or somthing but it saves like.4 i think I got it once and got a 48.1
