This is wonderful. ✨✨ I think I finally have a question. After listening for a while , allowing the work in my heart. It is beautiful and I am proceeding through. I think a mystery for me , in bringing it all together. Is. In the provision of the law for the sacrifice of sin. The blood atonement. Wait , I think I'm answering my own question. Jesus entered into our dellusion of separation. (Humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.) So his actions and what it accomplished, is the "thing." ( please bare with me , I'm struggling) Not. Necessarily the BLOOD. Blood. inevitable throughout the process of his death. So , focusing on the blood. Is not the necessary point. His actions in the fulfillment of the law. Is the point. So , it would be theologically correct to sing Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. But , not in the sense of a blood sacrifice for sin. Dr C. Baxter Kruger, my mind is hurting right now. (being funny) Is this supportive of Trinitarian theology? If youd rather , refer me to a book to read. If this isn't correct. I have not started ,The Mediation of Jesus Christ. I have purchased it. Thank you Sir , in advance. A minimalist answer would suffice. And I'm marching on anyway. Bless you. Thank you. This is all so amazing. Sincerely, Stacy

Did the Union happen in His life when He died and was raised to life, or in your life when you accepted Him?

at 12:02 min. "We were found in Jesus before we were ever lost in Adam." I'm certain this statement wasn't intentionally made to create 'cognitive dissonance' in those watching this episode just as I'm certain it did in some- perhaps many. On one hand I hear Baxter making this statement in the context of a "recovering Presbyterian" i.e. positing a theological position vis-a-vis other ways of giving an account of the scriptural meaning of *predestination* Is that fair? On the other hand I hear Baxter compressing an (or THE) application of TFT's *divine and contingent order* given by God in his Good creation. Isn't the *divine order* what we refer to as the celestial time and human generation in which Adam was creatively *fashioned* from the dust of the ground and from whom Jesus was creatively *begotten* by Trinitarian fiat? I note that St John opens his rendition of the Apostolic Gospel in this way: He starts talking about the Logos of God and then 14 verses later introduces Jesus as the Logos sarx egeneto : the Word flesh become. Isn't this an (or THE) example of *divine contingent* order given in the beginning? I find it helpful to understand this spacetime event of *contingent order* in terms of St Paul's phrase plērōma tou chronou : fullness of the time in Gal.4.4 and the plērōmatos tou Christou : fullness of Christ in Eph.4.13. Time and its fullness are homogenous and supranatural in the Creator's givenness i.e. not alien or *super* natural.

Kia ora from New Zealand. Baxter Kruger has helped me realise God is Love ❤❤❤ I met him years ago at a retreat with Paul Young here in NZ. I loved the question and answer about Congruence. And Baxters explanation of Exousia. Muchas Gracias Amigos 🙏

At 10:52 min. Really! Baxter's been teasing about Malki-Ṣedeq for years with his t-shirts. Is it fair to take this reference to "Abraham at the oaks of Mamre" as a sign of movement from the shirt to the paper?

Jesus accomplished our full salvation in his death and resurrection. Rom. 5:8 says that Christ proved God’s love by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly. I don’t think we could ever fathom the magnitude of how loved we are by God without the death of Christ. As a man, Jesus represents all of humanity and in order for us to perceive the mind of God he had to kill everything we were in Adam and rebirth us in his resurrection to make us new creations in himself. Jesus did so much for us that we can’t hardly comprehend it all. The reality of our existence is based solely on what Christ has accomplished for all of humanity in his life, death, resurrection, and ascension. Just my mindset on that. God Bless!

This is so eye opening!! Thank you both. Looking forward to the next episode. Still a lot of confusion about 'did Jesus have to die' in order to accomplish the Father's will? I understand that we killed him but did He have to die?

That's a great question. Baxter has a couple of books, Jesus and the Undoing of Adam, Across All Worlds and The Mediation of Jesus Christ that go a bit deeper into those questions.

Hello baxter, i really love your teachings but i was wondering since it was man who killed Jesus and it wasnt the Father’s wrath poured out on Jesus, then what does Jesus mean by not my will but yours Father, and though their wills align, is Jesus saying it is their will that man kills Jesus?

I said the magic prayer when I was 12, because I was threatened by the traveling evangelist with the ticking time bomb that could go off at any time. "Where would you go if you died tonight?" Then, immediately after saying the prayer, my pastor's wife asked me if I 'felt' saved... planting the idea that the magic prayer might not have worked. What I 'felt' for 55 years was fear that I couldn't even get saved right. Thanks to Baxter and Jason, and and several others in your circles, I've been able to let go of most of that. Thank you for these episodes.

How do I find the reality of this no more insecurity
@astonishedheartswithc.baxt10120 күн бұрын
It's a step by step process. Taking those small steps of taking sides with Jesus. Letting him love us into the deepest parts of our being, in the parts that we are ashamed of and feeling his love and embrace in that space. Sometimes doing some inner healing work can also be helpful too. If you'd like any recommendations on who to reach out to, for inner healing work, we have a few contacts that we can provide.
