Girrrl your rolling technique saved me from a lot of heartache!! I didn't realize I needed to do the pinch and twist method! I was gonna have regular ol rolled hair! I'm gonna do this right now!!

How do you sleep at night?

I typically only sleep on silk pillowcases so I don’t have to tie my hair up at night. This works the best for me because I don’t squish the curls and when I wake up all I have to do is pick from the roots to shape the fro. The Pineapple method always squished my curls around the perimeter of my hair and bonnets are too tight on my head. Try that and let me know if it works for you.

I saw your video on their Curl Definer where you did a braidout--BEAUTIFUL! I also have 4c hair and need a curl cream for my twist out and braidouts--how long did your braidout last with their curl definer? and do you feel like it helps define the curls well?

Hey love!!! Thank you so much!!! Their curl definer is actually one of my favorites! I would say if I didn’t do too much manipulation and it can last anywhere from 5 to 7 days. I also like that their products blend well without flaking. I hope that works out for you. Let me know :)

I'll try the conditioner out! I always shed way too much hair and then I realized I'm not supposed to comb my hair when it's not been washed/detangled. A question I've been wondering though, what do you think about the effects of hard water on 4c hair? It is always so hard to clean my scalp so I have to use harsh shampoos that strip my hair but my scalp gets clean only this way.

HEY!! Yes please don't comb or brush your hair when it's dry always always use water. I'm unsure of the effects hard water has 4c hair, I don't think I pay much attention to the water. However, I would stay away from using harsh shampoos and maybe find a product that's penetrating or good for your scalp or even natural diy things.
