Someone should really upload this DVD to the internet somewhere so we can all benefit from Mark's mastery

The documentary was scrapped, after a few attempts to get it edited into something decent failed. The necessary omission of songs, due to expensive sync and mechanical rights, threw everything out of wack. Three new performances were then awkwardly inserted, which didn’t help the situation.

Can’t we start a crowdsourced funding to get this completed and released?

I just heard Calvin in an interview the other day on KCSM talking about the Memorial Tribute that was planned for Jeff Chambers in the name of a scholarship named for Chambers who passed away last year 2021 in May. "I'll Remember April" was played with Jeff on Bass. It was something beautiful...I'm here trying to find it to send it to someone special....The Tribute was being held at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, CA... Gloria Jean

Você penetrou como o sol da manhã E em nós começou uma festa pagã Você libertou em você a infernal cortesã E em mim despertou esse amor Atormentado e mal de Satã Você me deixou como o fim da manhã E em mim começou essa angústia, esse afã Você me plantou a paixão imortal e mal sã Que me enraizou e será meu maldito final amanhã E agora me aperta a aflição De chorar louco e só de manhã É a seta do arco da noite Sangrando-me agora São lágrimas, sangue, veneno Correndo no meu coração Formando-me dentro esse pântano de solidã

It’s not about perfect pronunciation, it’s about feeling and his interpretation of the lyrics. I’ve heard Brazilian singers sing in English all of my life and none of them pronounce the lyrics perfectly. But their emotion and voices move me nonetheless. Mark Murphy performs this song beautifully and the band is right.
