I was forty years old when this song ( and video ) were released on MTV. I remember not being able to understand all the words he was singing and most of us didn't have the internet then to "look them up". Being bullied for eight years in school, I can really identify with the song.

One of the most beautiful songs ever performed. Thanks for bringing back but a single piece of what was probably the greatest band of its era but now seems to have been mostly lost to history.

Can I just remind the haters, that in the original line up Chester was I think the last one in. I just want to also say I see Emily getting bad press, the past is just that in the past. Chris was already several years into Soundgarden and it was a tribute to his great friend and roommate Andrew Wood. Eddie is sitting next to the drums on backing vocals and Pearl Jam was in the early workings as Eddie had just come north from San Diego. After TOTD tribute was done, Soundgarden continued on and Eddie ended up staying after his audition for Jeff, Stone, and Mike as they were forming a new band ( Mookie Blaylock) which quickly changed to Pearl Jam. A lot went on with those friends as the Seattle music scene was filled with musicians attending other musician's shows. There was a commraderie amongst the bands. Interesting thing....I'm not 100% sure but, I think Alice In Chains played the same night at the Moore as part of the line up. How incredible to be there.
