If you drain the coolant from the engine block and refill with new coolant, will engine block receive any new coolant since the thermostat will not open until the temp reaches 180.

Should do a coolant test to see if coolant needs replacement. There are test strips or a probe to test the coolant.

That's a bloody hard way to mesh a trench footing. Can you not buy different width trench mesh over there? When I have to do a wall footing or trench I just buy either, 3 or 4 bar width and if need to be boxed I just buy the appropriate stirrups

I had a similar thing happen at Home Depot. I was buying a wool cover paint roller and noticed that the color looked a bit off from others in the bin. Some low-life had swapped the expensive wool one with a $2 cheap one, and saved money by ripping off another unsuspecting customer. I noticed, and handed it to the HD employee with the suggestion that it be thrown away.

You can put the Teflon tape further down the threads. When you tighten the anode rod, the threads will cut through the tape and make metal-metal contact. I always check that with an ohm meter, just to be sure, but it always does.

Is the color coat mix the same or thinner?

Spray PB blaster a few times and let it work for a few hours. Use a breaker bar to loosen the nut.

Nice video!! My only problem was that I levelled and smoothed off, waited 1.5 to 2 hours then used a 3/8” edging tool. I ‘dislodged’ many small stones that were in the concrete mix. Not sure what I did wrong.

Easier way to do that is take a hammer and tap on the end of the break over handle with short but firm taps. With just a little patience it will come loose. No need for all of the straps.

This is April of 2023, it looks like this video was from about 10 years ago, and obviously computers and operating systems have changed since this was posted. Does anyone know if this still applies using Windows 11? That I can just buy the hard drive adapter / case, install the old hard drive and plug it into a newer laptop running the latest software?

My computer fell when I was moving furniture and my computer guy says he can't get anything from the hard drive. I took the hard drive out. Will it do me any good to do this? Do you have a video that can help me get my files?
