I like this. It explains why Yugioh: Dark Side of Dimensions hits so uniquely--that movie's explicit evocation of the manga also demonstrates that the principles outlined here hold true for manga. RWBY is different now, for better and for worse--Monty Oum's passion for these refined dimensions means that it couldn't have stayed the same without him. You're doing an excellent job reminding us of what made early RWBY so distinctive while allowing us to appreciate how the show continues to echo his ethos in its own way.

"cough" if I may make a recommendation on a story without words, I highly look up the Birth of the Sandman from Spiderman 3 2007. The animation from every single grain of sand to the body movements and language and the score just being hot fudge and a cherry on top.

I wish Names and Nonsense and Invincible Girl were the final episodes of season 1, not that I am insulting Stray and Black and White. They were great finallies but a part of me always wished we had a season in-between 1 and 2 giving us a few more happy moments from their beacon days. And have Stray and Black and White as a season 2 finally but than again, Ice Queendom can be considered a season 1 1/2 also even if they gave us more beacon days between 1 and 2 it would have made the Beacon Arc finally that much more hurtful

oh man I aint no swordplay nerd or master of cheography and fights but not only did these feel decently proper (for fantasy fights at any rate) they captured the style perfectly and also felt like someone who really too care to how each character would fight. I especially noticed the poses Weiss had when using her rapier were very ballet like and graceful. We need more of this. Like I would pay for yall to be the ones to make Volume 10.
