Saw this in tiktok and i wanna know the schematic. I want to do it my own

Years back, I saw an example pf this trick, and decided I wanted to make one that actually worked. So I did. I showed it to a former stage magician, who presumed it was the trick he knew, but the look on his fave when he realized it avtually worked was hilarious.

"Doesn't matter which order we put them in" - yes, yes, it does. I don't know how the internal circuitry has to look to cause this effect, but the trick is very obvious: he always lights the left-most light first (even if there isn't a bulb in there, which was what originally tipped me off), then the one next to it, the third one and the last one. So my guess is that the order or colour of the switches doesn't make any difference whatsoever (hence why he could also leave them off entirely), it's just that he has to make sure to use the switches in the right order (i.e. the order in which the bulbs are placed). When something about the bulbs is changed, the circuitry apparently resets, so the next time he puts the lights back on, he has to make sure that he accounts for any switched bulbs (because he has to use the colours in a different order then) but which order that is is, again, irrelevant. Would be interesting to see whether it's possible to switch all lamps on with the same switch (if he just used the same switch four times in a row), but probably not. That would be really sophisticated...

Since board is never moved - four hidden switches will do it.

its about the order he lights the switches to turn on the first position the second etc... simple logic

either he is doing something under the table with his feet, or there is a dude behind the red curtain with a video feed who switches the circuits around

+Archer Dennis (NamrednE125) are you talking about logic gates? that might explain it up until he switches the switch colors

Colin Worf Each bulb and cap may contain some state that changes where each switch goes. My guess.

how neat... same order every time. magic trick for kids. (buy it took you 8 years to figure out?) maybe.

And he made sure that the guy chose the red switch when he was choosing hands because if he chose the hand that held the red the big guy kept that hand if he chose the one without the red cap the big guy put it away.

@vrbollu I agree with you, at 4:00 he pretty much gives away the trick by flipping on the switches. I think the first operated switch will light the first and so on, then the order is memorized by the device. The memory is cleared if all the lights are off for a certain amount of time (10 sec or so).
@vrbollu13 жыл бұрын
The magic is very clear by close watching. The first switch operated will always lights the first light, second switch operated lights the second one and so on.

Well I have no knowledge in electronics so I couldnt duplicate this but I know exactly what its doing... Its pretty obvious if you pay attention to the order he does things in... Notice that the FIRST time he flicks the switches after the bulbs are changed he does it on order left to right, then random after that.. Every time.. hmmmmm =)

If you watch the video carefully a number of times the secret to the illusion becomes apparent. This is the kind of trick that can't be repeated too many times in front of the same audience. The effect is possible due to the logic and count-down timer circuitry embedded in the base.
