My health changed when I eliminates food additives 100%. It took a while to get over the social addiction to the simplicity of eating out. If I can't grow it I won't eat it. I do grow brussel sprouts. I recently taught myself to make the best beef sasauge using my herb and spice collection. I wish I could afford salmon. Thank you for the info.

Pretty good list. I would recommend pinto beans over black bean, however. According to Thomas DeLauer, black beans have a substance that inhibits the uptake of protein.

Calcium in dairy products opposes phosphorus. Furthermore there is no such thing as healthy wheat. Regardless of wether it is whole wheat or just plain white. The information here is misleading. Context is everything. No food should be judged alone. The overall context must be seen through the lens of the entire diet and how balanced it is.
