Quite the contradiction there. Divine Armor doesn't negate the damage from Augmented actives as it also causes breaches. Even if it did, both crystal armor augments would fail to proc as no damage was taken; damage must be taken for them to trigger.

Rebel crew by default weren't meant to be obtainable. This was likely an event that Gabriel never considered looking at.

@@TehNecr0 Ah, that makes much more sense. But you can still get human engineers, which do seem to be former rebels, and you did have one of those on your ship. Still, I get it. Minor detail.

It's completely safe; I've already gone through multiple updates since 5.0, with each update temporarily disabling addons and re-enabling them after a while. However, addons now need to be updated to actually work with 5.4. Any progress from prior addon versions will carry over.

It's a bit different than what you're saying. Multiverse itself is the mod. Anything else that's in here are addons as they only work with MV itself. And yeah, modded FTL has been a thing for a few years now with Captain's Edition setting the first bar. Though with MV, that bar's pretty low by comparison now.

​@@TehNecr0Yeah, I fiddled a bit with it. Multiverse is an interesting idea, both from a story conceit and a gameplay mechanic justification. I ended up grabbing every addon you mentioned + AI Avatar Cruiser and Forgotten Diamonds. Lots of weird stuff to play with, haha.

All addons are always under the addon-announcements thread. In turn, they will redirect you to the MV forums where all addons are kept. Just be sure the addon is compatible with 5.4. As for FR itself, there's nothing wrong with the addon itself as it's currently up to date.

This is probably something you'll have to ask in the Discord server. However, if I had to guess, it might have something to do with having 2 instances of MV from both the installer and patching manually via Slipstream. Last I heard (and from personal experience), it kinda messes up the game if you used both.

It's a bit on the RNG side. Without too much spoilers, there are 3 ships you can find throughout all runs that are low stability (no detergent in hanger). You can find red labeled beacons in the unique sectors below. Crystal Homeworlds Lanius Swarmlands Black Market Civilian Hacker Sector Central Shipyards Spectral Wastelands Spectral Capital There's a 4th ship you fight, but that's for after the other three. I strongly advise reading since that appears to be a running problem when people don't know what to do next.

So the Coomer "Soldier" displays the stats of a normal Human Soldier, but aside from having insane ranged attack speed, it also has a huge damage ranged damage penalty (about -90% ranged damage). This is where Irwin comes in as his ability sets the stats of all affected crew to x1 base stats or effectively that of a Human. Since attack rate is unaffected, the Coomer Soldier will still maintain the attack speed, but ranged attacks will be at the normal Human value for the duration of Irwin's ability. In turn, this combination makes the Coomer Soldier's ranged combat damage about x10 as strong as almost any other crew affected by Irwin's ability, with the exception of Jerry and Prime, who also have increased range attack speed (Jerry also uses ranged attacks regardless).

I'm no expert on playing Engi ships, but you'll probably want to take advantage of your Drone Control system while supporting your combat drone(s) with ion weaponry. You'll also want crew capable of fending off boarders as Engis don't fare well in crew combat. Its unique augment means that at higher levels, you can focus less on using your crew to repair systems.
