Yep, I could tell the difference that time, Sarge. The sound was more focused toward your microphone and louder because of that. Doesn't matter, the way you play the harmonica it would sound perfect any way you did it. And don't forget, I'm wearing two hearing aids so I probably missed a lot of the finer tonal inflections.

Thanks for listening Karl. As far as octave harps the Seydel concerto steel is the one I like the best. Actually, I very seldom use a C harmonica. I use Low F quite a bit. Usually a G, Low F, also Low D. I very seldom use a harp above a G. I would say that most of the songs I have posted are with a Low F harmonica.

I have one of Seth's Harp Horns... you can use things to block and unblock the "trumpet" hole, like trumpet players do... I found a couple of toy inflatable rubber balls at Walmart, and siliconed glued a knob on it to make it easier for hand effects... I just need to practice more with it !

Well, first you need to make sure you are not tone deaf. Can you whislte or hum a song? If so then see if you can pick out Mary had a little lamb. 5 blow 4 draw 4 blow 4 draw 5 blow 3 times. Keep playing that over and over till it;s easy for you. Then try another simple one like twinkle little star. Keep fooling with your hamonica and get to know it.
